I love the car seat. It is large and very sturdy. My son seems to be comfortable in it, even on long rides. I only wish when you put the buckles (5 point harness between his legs) into the locking part of the seat that they would make the snapping sound. I have to double check to make sure they are locked in, each time I put my son into the seat. Customer Review: Works well

This is a really soft, comfy car seat. My baby looks very happy in it and falls asleep easily. I only gave it four stars because the straps twist all the time and it is a bit of a pain to get them untwisted with him in the seat. I don't remember any reviews saying this, so I wanted to be sure folks are prepared for that, since I wasn't. we LOVE this car seat! we originally had the same seat in the onyx material (which we liked alot) but after a major car accident we needed to replace the seat (thank g-d we were all fine and the seat positively saved my 2.5 year old's life).
we live in a very very hot climate and one thing we didn't like abt the onyx was that it was made of velure and another more plastic-like material and it got VERY VERY HOT. so while browsing on amazon i saw the denim and though it would be perfect even throughout the summer when it can get to 100 degrees. so we bought it for our then 2.5 year old and now we are buying a second denim (third britax) for our 10 month old. it is safe, easy to install, comfortable, and easily adjustable, and i especially like that the instruction manual is tethered to the inside of the seat for quick reference and you can't lose it! the seat tilts back to accomodate different angles of the seats and the straps are easily adjustable as your child grows. and most of all, the soft denim does not get hot and is comfortable in any temperature.
since my older son is small, i intend to keep him in the car seat until he hits the weight limit which is a whopping 65 lbs!
all in all we are very happy with our britax car seats in denim.

As grandparents we inherited 2 Britax Boulevard models. The straps connecting the seats to the car jam with every use and the clips are difficult to attach. The designers obviously never actually used them. If buying a new model be sure there has been an upgrade, The photos look the same. If you only use the car seats part time they are unacceptable.
