After reading other reviews, I was slightly nervous about this seat fitting rear-facing in the back of my Subaru Forester. But it fits just fine and my 11 month old son really seems to like sitting in it. He sits up more and is less cramped than in his old Graco Snugride. My mom and husband worked together on the installation and it was not too difficult using the LATCH system. I am pleased that we will be able to use this seat for a long time since it has a high weight and height limits. Also, be aware that Amazon does run sales periodically on Britax seats. I got $50 off this seat as well as another Britax seat about 2 years ago for my older son. This helps with the cost. Happy Driving!Customer Review: A great car seat

This carseat is really nice. After installing various carseats for myself, and family members, it's crystal clear to me that this is a super safe seat. It's a very hard plastic, that has no give. I've dealt w/ other flimsy car seats, and feel the Britax Marathon offers much better protection. Installation was easy. My 6 month old outgrew his infant seat, so we moved to this. He fits perfectly right now and should for a few years. We liked this so much, we bought another, so we have 2 of these now. Both in Subaru Foresters. The fit is fine. There's not a ton of extra room, but it fits fine. The front passenger seat can not go all the way back w/ the seat installed rear facing. But it can go 3/4 of the way and can still sit an adult just fine.Customer Review: We love our Britax!

I ordered this car seat after much time spent researching different car seats, this had the greatest reviews, and I can easily see why. The car seat is easy to install, my 5 month old fits perfectly in this, and has much to grow into it. It doesn't take up a lot of room in back seat, and, I love that you can take the cover of to wash it. Not to mention we're a family of hunters, and the camo is a must for our little one!! I would recommend this product to anyone's child that has outgrown thier infant carrier!!
