I purchased this product from Costco, and after about a year of use, the locking latch that sits between your kid's knees and locks the seat belt in place was not functioning properly, such that the belt would not lock unless you manually forced the latch into the lock position. I called and emailed Britax. They told me on the phone that since the warranty had expired, it was likely that there was nothing that could be done. They never responded to my email. Thank goodness that Costco has an excellent return policy.Customer Review: Great product

Excellent product. Fits very secure and is very comfortable for my 16 month old son. I debated buying this as I heard that children are much safer in a rear facing seat for as long as possible, but he was so fussy and it was difficult to drive with him. Now he can see out of the window and rides are much more enjoyable. He has been in this seat for about 3 months now and we love it. It is a difficult seat to take in and out of your car, but that is the only negative thing I can say about this. Definitely worth the $.Customer Review: Good Carseat

We have just started using this carseat with our 4-month old daughter. She is very comfortable in it and seems to like it a lot more that her infant carseat. We love the color, and it was very easy to install. It doesn't take up any more room in our small Nissan Sentra than her infant carrier did. The only reason that I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the buckles don't always click when you snap them in, and it makes me feel uneasy. Especially because the instruction booklet says to listen for the click.Customer Review: Great Carseat!

We've been using this carseat since my son was 6 months old and it worked wonderfully as a rearfacing seat. Once he turned a year we had it installed forward facing and it's still great. He's comfortable in it and I love that it has velcro to hold the straps open while putting him in the seat - that way he doesn't sit on them. Britax also mentions that their straps won't twist, and this is true. Overall the seat is easy to buckle and I feel very good that my son is protected in a Britax Marathon.Customer Review: Good car seat

I bought two of these car seats based on the feedback and research I had done on line. They were only slightly more expensive than the First Years seat, and they looked better so I got one for each car.
They are roomy and comfortable. I particularly like the velcro on the sides which helps keeps the straps out of the way when we put our 11 month old in the car. The only negative aspect for me is that the crotch strap is not adjustable. I believe the Decathlon however has that feature.
