Baby Products Reviews of Britax Marathon 65 Convertible Car Seat, OnyxCustomer Review: Great car seat Summary: 5 Stars
We already had a Britax car seat for my 3 year old daughter. I was hoping to move her up into a booster seat, but she was not ready to give up her car seat for her younger brother yet. That's how I decided to get a new car seat for my 10 month old son. And since I had good experience with my first one, I just stayed with the same brand and type.
Both my children are tall and this car seat seems to accomodate that.
Customer Review: Two of them (moo print and zebra print) -- they just keep working. Summary: 5 Stars
Wanted to make a brief note that the product stands the test of time. 6 years later this seat and another that is 2 years younger is still doing great. We had a evenflo $129 type seat and it was after 6 months tougher to pull the tightening strap. the Britax Marathon just keeps working. The cool prints are nice. Just can't go wrong and yes it is more costly but buying a bunch of cheaper seats and for what?
Customer Review: LOVE IT Summary: 5 Stars
We are so happy with this purchase. We have a smaller car (corolla) and it still fits just fine. Our 8 month old son loves the seat too, which is most important! He seems very comfortable and falls asleep very easily. We like the recline on the seat versus some of the other convertables out there. It was pricey but turned out to be well worth the money as it seems like it will last and is so comfortable.
Customer Review: Big, Sturdy, Safe Seat Summary: 5 Stars
We were very impressed with this car seat. It gives you several installation options and it was quick and easy to install. All of the buckles and straps operate smoothly and once it is installed it is rock solid. We paid a little extra to have this seat but it is also built well enough that it should last us for several more years/ children. I would highly recommend this seat to others.
Customer Review: Great Car Seat Summary: 5 Stars
This car seat installed solidly into 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee using the LATCH system. However, it did not install as well using the seat belt in our 1997 Saturn SL1. It also worked great when it was installed (forward facing because it would not fit rear facing) in an airplane seat. Overall, I think that it is a very easy seat to install pretty much anywhere.
