Baby Products Reviews of Bright Starts Bouncing Buddies Cradling Bouncer in BlueCustomer Review: Great affordable vibrating bouncy seat Summary: 4 Stars
My 2 month old daughter loves this bouncy seat. The toy bar is low enough that she can reach the toys but not so low that they are in her face. I like that there are 2 settings on the volume for the songs it plays, I only wish there were 2 settings for the vibration of the seat - it seems that the vibration is a bit strong/fast, but she seems to like it. The songs and the vibrations automatically turn off after a set period of time which can be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it. This seat was very easy to assemble, and compared to prices on similar seats I definitely recommend it.
Customer Review: OK Summary: 3 Stars
Let me start off by saying my newborn hates this. She cries whenever we put her in it. Maybe in a few months, she'll adapt. This is our second bouncer. Our first wore out after two kids.
I don't blame the bouncer. It's just the way our daughter is.
Installation was OK. The product is OK. It vibrates and plays music within a frequency response of, I would guess, 10KHz-15KHz. Kind of like Alvin and the Chipmunks range. If you're looking for a bouncer, this works and I don't see any point in paying more than $20. You'll get diminished returns.
Customer Review: ok, but no music Summary: 3 Stars
this item is structurally sound and assembles easily.
the vibrator is powered by 2 C batteries. this is good, since they last much longer than AA's that i have in some other baby-entertaining devices.
a possibly important note: the unit i received has only a vibrator and NO MUSIC. if you look at the pictures above, you'll see that one picture shows a unit with one switch (the one i received) and a second picture shows a different unit with two switches (i assume that is the one that has music).
Customer Review: Great Option for the Price Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this bouncy seat for my babysitter. The one we have at home was twice as expensive and our daughter (3 months) seems to like them equally. The quality is just fine -- nothing special, but it does what it is supposed to do, and you can't beat the $25 price tag! My biggest complaint is the the toy bar comes off very easily. With the Fisher Price seat that I have at home, I can pick it up to move it by the toy bar (without the baby in it). I can't do that with this seat -- the bar pops right off.
Customer Review: Loving It! Summary: 4 Stars
We bought this for our son when he was a few weeks old. At first, he did seem so small in it and he didn't really pay much attention to the bar. He's 3 months old now and he has been loving his bouncy seat now for a while. He hits the toys hanging from the bars and he is able to make his seat "bounce" when he kicks his legs. I don't know how much longer he will be able to use his bouncy seat because he is getting big. I will have to find something to replace this, it's going to be hard!!
