I don't really know why those padded bumpers are even sold. Like most new parents, we bought a cute bedding set that included a large padded bumper that we never used. This wasn't a problem when he didn't move around, but when he started to move around alot, he got his little leg caught in the crib. We researched several options and this one seemed like the best. Not only does it protect his little arms and legs, it also doesn't freak me out if he is sleeping on his stomach and his head rests up against it. Great product.Customer Review: really nice bumper

I really like the bumper and the set up was easy. Every once in awhile I have a problem with sliding but it's nothing that concerns me as far as my child's safety. It does leave 2 small gaps at the corners of the crib which I didn't know would happen and that was a bummer to discover but I would still purchase this item over again regardless if the small issues.Customer Review: Great product, feels much safter

I like this product overall. My four month old son was constantly getting his limbs stuck in the crib slats but this has greatly discouraged that from happening. He does often pull it down in places - the velcro is no match for him - but it's been a great alternative to a regular bumper. Would recommend for parents of babies that are restless sleepers and often get their limbs stuck.
