Customer Review: Nice Idea but Won't Stay Put

I appreciate the idea of this product since I wanted to protect my son from limbs stuck between slats but preferred a breathable surface. However I was frustrated to discover that he was easily able to slide the bumper down. It didn't keep him from getting his limbs stuck at all. A waste of $ in that respect. Now that he's older I switched to a "standard" bumper and am much happier with that.Customer Review: Offers Security, A Pain to Install

I use this bumper to keep my baby's feet from going through the crib rails without me having to worry about possible suffocations issues associated with regular bumpers. However, this thing is annoying to deal with every time I change the crib sheet---it's not easy to take on and off. And it's NOT attractive either. I wish this bumper were cuter and easier to handle, but it serves its purpose.Customer Review: Does the job

I like this product overall. My four month old son was constantly getting his limbs stuck in the crib slats but this has greatly discouraged that from happening. He does often pull it down in places - the velcro is no match for him - but it's been a great alternative to a regular bumper. This product is great. My son (5 mo) would move around in his crib so much and get his legs stuck in the rails. Also, he would get his head up against the rails from him moving around while he sleeps. This bumper has just a little padding, just enough, and it prevents his arms and legs getting stuck. I bought this bumper mostly to keep my sons legs and arms inside the crib as he rolls around in his sleep. It works great! I made sure I installed the bumper super tight. I don't have any issues with it slipping or not staying up like some other reviewers. You just have to make sure you secure it tightly. This is a great product and I would recommend it.
