My daughter @ 5 moved alot in her crib, even when she was sleeping. I found her many times @ the edge with her arms or legs hanging out. I decided to buy the breathable bumper so that she even if she face planted herself agains it, she would not suffocate. It's easy to wash, easy to install and works to my expectations. I find she does play with it, but i've tucked the bottom part so that she can't pull it up or get her hands out and she does try to pull it down, but i find it pops back up when she lets go. I bought this for a mini-crib, so I knew that it wouldn't fit quite right. My daughter was starting to use her crib bumper as a "step" -- which scared me! I liked that this was collapsible. I wasn't as worried about the breathability of it because my dd was old enough to move around. I played with it for a while and it works fine. I'll use it again when we buy a full size crib for the next baby. However - you should know - it comes in 2 pieces to fit the old style drop side crib. You can make it fit a new crib, it just takes adjusting.Customer Review: A great idea

I don't really know why those padded bumpers are even sold. Like most new parents, we bought a cute bedding set that included a large padded bumper that we never used. This wasn't a problem when he didn't move around, but when he started to move around alot, he got his little leg caught in the crib. We researched several options and this one seemed like the best. Not only does it protect his little arms and legs, it also doesn't freak me out if he is sleeping on his stomach and his head rests up against it. Great product.Customer Review: Excellent crib liner

This is an excellent crib liner for parents of active sleepers! My baby used to get her feet stuck in the slats of her crib, or lose her pacifier over the edge, or even lose her favorite stuffed animal through the slats. The directions for placing this liner in the crib are so easy to follow I had it installed in no time. Now she sleeps (relatively) peacefully through the night--no getting stuck or losing her favorite animal! As a result, we're also sleeping better since we don't have to go and rescue her from the crib slats.Customer Review: does not fit oeuf crib

This crib bumper is one-of-a-kind and well constructed, however, despite the company's statements that the bumper fits all cribs, it does not fit the oeuf classic crib. I stretched, triple checked the instructions, and try as I might, I could not get it to fit. I ended up just leaving the end corner open by modifying the instructions to wrap one end around the corner post. I still use it, since there is no other product designed to keep arms and legs in that I feel safe using.
