Customer Review: Peace of Mind Crib Bumper

At just a few weeks old, I found that my son loves to rub his face up close to the edge of the crib and the bumper that came with my crib set was dangerous in my opinion because I was afraid that he would suffocate. I bought this breathable bumper from Amazon and we have loved it since! It gives me peace of mind knowing that even if he gets up against the crib, he will still be able to breathe. He's now 8 months old and moves all around in the crib and this bumper now helps to prevent his arms/legs from getting stuck in between the crib rails. This crib bumper is a must have for all parents! I HIGHLY recommend it!Customer Review: Good for immobile babies

I bought this when my son began to roll in his crib and I took out the regular bumper. Mine does not gap in the Davinci Emily crib, it fits perfect. When my son rolls and sticks his face in the corner, I'm not afraid of him suffocating. I only wish it was a bit taller. When I'm trying to get him to go to sleep and he's rolling around, he occasionally gets an arm or a leg through the slats above the bumper. He only moves like that when he is awake and I am watching though, so he's never been really stuck. It also helps keep binkies from rolling out the slats. If it was just a little taller it would be perfect.Customer Review: Best $20 spent

I read the reviews on this product and was a little bit wary to purchase it, but I did anyway.
We took my daughter's regular (thick) bumper off of her crib once she started rolling, because we were nervous about suffocation. But then she kept getting her legs stuck in between the slats. This bumper solves both problems-- its really breathable so I dont worry about suffocation, and now her legs dont get stuck.
Installation is not completely intuitive, but there are instructions that show step by step how to do it.
Definitely worth getting.

I wasn't sure about this when I ordered it, but am absolutely sold after a month's use. My 6-month old loses pacifiers at night and they fall behind the crib (as they did with my 2 1/2 year old)...instead of fishing them out in the dark of the night, they're all contained in the crib now with the breathable bumper. Also, even when my baby has her faced pressed against the crib wall/bumper, I don't worry at all about SIDS since she can still breath with the mesh material of the bumper. I wish I had this 2 years ago when my oldest was in the crib. I highly recommend it!!Customer Review: Good idea in theory, reality?

As a new grandma and Nursery RN I wanted the absolute safest products available for my precious Grandchild. I researched and bought this product. In theory it semed perfect, and while he was tiny and just slept swaddled on his back it did work well. He only sleeps here occassionally, and as soon as he started moving, there just wasn't enough padding to keep his limbs and head protected when he awoke and started climbing/ sitting up, letting me know it's time to come get him. I have a more traditional style bumper and it's better at padding an active baby.
