I am very happy with this brand of nipples. I wish we had started using these earlier. We started using these when my daughter was 6 months. We tried many other bottles including, Platex Airvent, MAM Anti Gas, Advent and several others. She got nipple frustration with every other nipple. The others were not fast or soft enough. The Born Free Nipples and bottles are great for her. She was using the #4 Advent at 3 months. Then we moved to the thick liquid nipples by 4 months. The Advent was okay, but the nipples were to hard for her and just not fast enough. They would tire her out. The Born Free #3 Nipple is very fast and soft. After about a week of using these, our daughter began finishing bottles quickly and happily. These are a great nipple for babies that need a very fast nipple. after buying other bottles for our baby, i've finally found one that we love. It was hard trying to find one that reduced gas and colic as well as a nipple she could latch well and where a thicker formula ( for her reflux) could pass through at the right flow with out gagging her or clogging. These bottles have a special valve to reduce gas, like doctor brown's, but are easier to clean, and the stage three nipples, which she latches perfect, allows her cereal to flow through with out a fuss. This is definitely a good quality bottle and what is also great it that it's bisphenol-free!!!Customer Review: too soft

We switched from Advent to Bornfree for BPA bottles. And get these for our 10month old daughter.
The bottle was not well designed. It leaks if you don't cap it tight. But once it is tight, it does not vent. So when she suck on them it colapses. so she has to stop after every 5-6 suckles to let the air go in. She dropped her milke intake by about 20% (6Oz to 5OZ). We really Advent makes BPA free bottles. Now we are using the advent nipple on the Bornfree nipple. It works but not prefect.

My baby girls JUST turned 6 months old literally this week. We were needing to change our new nipples out anyway so we decided to try them on the stage 3 nipples. They had no problem whatsoever. The flow seems to be just right for the and it cuts feeding time down so much! They can finish their 6 oz in 10 min. which is great for mom and dad since they don't have holding their own bottles down just yet. All babies are different but for us they worked just great.Customer Review: Excellent

I was having problems with the #1 nipples colapsing, but I read that it was because the child needed more flow. Completely tru once I switch my 5 month old to #2 nipples no more colapse. They are great I wish I would have ordered them sooner, I really should have bought the level 2 much sooner since my son was not getting the adecuate flow, ofcourse the level one nipples were great the first couple of months, but you have to switch after a while.
