This is an excellent sippy cup. It was important to me to find a sippy cup that was BPA free. This also has the soft spout so it made the transition from bottle to sippy cup easier. My son likes the handles on the cup as they make it easier for his little hands to hold on to. My only wish is that Born Free would make the vent portion one piece instead of two for simpler assembly/washing.Customer Review: really, really leaks

These are nice cups, particularly appropriate for toddlers because of the long soft spout. However, despite everything I read, in my experience they really provide little to no leak protection. If my son leaves his cup on its side (as will happen if he's been drinking something in bed) the liquid pretty much pours out. These are spill proof, perhaps, but not leak proof.Customer Review: good product

You need to buy the soft replacement spouts for the younger ones. It should say on the replacement spout package 6+months. My baby will be 6 months old in a few days. He is breastfed and won't take a bottle. I bought the soft 6+ months spouts and he likes it. The nice thing is, if you have some born free bottles, the replacement spouts fit them. I know that this cup does not specify to be leak free, but come on it should be a given that parents do not want to have water or juice all over their home. We have had no leaking problems with any of our BornFree products when used properly. This cup is a FREE FLOWING drinking cup, There is also a training cup that is like a sippy cup that does not have free flow for when your toddler is younger. We love the bottles, the trainers, the drinking cups and that the handles and tops are interchangeable.
