here are the good things about this swing - the batteries last really long, the range of motion is nice and my daughter loves it - it took her some time to enjoy the motion, about 2 months, now at 4 months she is starting to get over it..
the bad stuff - the music didn't work from day one, it was too late for us to return it so we just kept it. Also, the corners of the legs have a padding - I guess anti-slip, that broke off after 2 weeks of having the swing on the carpet.. it does fold up quite nicely but whenever we fold it the seat gets out of the aligment and we have to redo it. Every time. Otherwise she is practically falling out of it. I would probably not choose it again and would not recommend it to my friends. We also own a bouncy seat from Boppy and absolutely love it!

I have never written a product review before, but I have never loved a product as much as I love this swing. My husband and I actually bought this swing the night before our baby was born. We found it at a consignment shop, and it was such a great deal that we decided to just go ahead and get it- even though I had not read the reviews on it. I normally research a product and read every review on Amazon, Target and Babies R Us before I buy something for the baby, but I decided to take a risk on this swing. I'm so glad I did- it was the best thing we have bought for the baby so far! I love it so much, I had to write a review so others could know how amazing this swing is. My newborn LOVES the swing- in fact, he sleeps better in the swing than he does in his crib! It has saved us many a night when he was inconsolable, and we put him in the swing, and he would be lulled to sleep and we would finally be able to get some sleep ourselves. It has an automatic shut-off and music. The battery power seems great- we have had it for 3 weeks, and who knows how long the batteries have been in there, since we bought it used and it came with the batteries. The speed of the swing is really great, and it really does adjust well to my baby's size. I usually put a blanket underneath my baby and that has seemed to help keep the shape of his body comfortable- I haven't used the head pad-thingy because it pushes his head too much forward and it seems awkward. I also took the toy bar off for now, because he sleeps better without it. Although there have been a few times when he was really alert and he just stared at and studied the cute little toys. I love that it folds so we can take it with us when we travel. I have told all my friends who are having babies that they need to get this swing. I also love that it doesn't look so baby-ish, it is nice neutral colors, it is small and low and not so intrusive like those huge swings- so as shallow as it sounds, it goes well with our decor and it doesn't make our living room seem like baby-land. This swing is just amazing. Even though we bought it for [...] bucks at a consignment shop, knowing what I know now, and how it has allowed me sleep on the nights where the baby was screaming every 20 minutes, I would pay any amount of money for it. Getting a couples hours of sleep when you haven't slept in days is worth any price, and I can feel confident that he is safe, content and comfortable while I sleep. Being well-rested has helped me be a better mom, and has made the first 3 weeks bearable so far. So I just wanted to let you know that it is so worth every penny and the best swing ever. This swing worked great in the beginning! It was small enough to fit in the bathroom so I couldd take a shower without baby screaming in the other room. Baby happily sat here for 30 plus minutes. Very comfortable swing.
The negatives are that the toy bar is placed over the baby's head, and almost out of reach so baby never even sees them. The swing motor also stopped working after 4 months. I replaced the batteries, & only the music works. :-)
Buy this swing only if you don't mind the short term investment.

Received this as a shower gift, and it was a godsend for my daughter who needed the extra rocking and cuddling to sleep (hard to do with twins!). The swing can be positioned so that the baby is laying flat or sitting a bit more upright. The upright position is great for just a seat, too. It folds up compact very easily. I would recommend putting a few books or something a bit heavier in it before the baby uses it to break it in. My kids were smaller (5 and 6 pounds), and it wasn't until their 15 pound cousin used it that the swing snuggled them instead of being flat. The only problem we had with it was leaving it on when it was in the locked position... unknown to us, the swing was trying to work, and all it did was eat the batteries. The attached toys are OK, but you can add your own, or remove the toy bar all together. I would definitely recommend this swing!Customer Review: Nice Swing, Nice Music

This swing works well. It does not really fold up small and easy to store, but it is an excellent swing.
