I bought this for my new grandbaby based on my daughter's research (she has a Master's in Child Development)and this is the one she chose over simmilar products--including Baby Einstein; based on interactive learning, color stimulation and visual processing. We had this playmat for my first son and he was never entertained by it for more than a couple of minutes. He did like the butterfly, but that was about it. Yes, this is ridiculously overpriced, but my daughter LOVES it. The quality is great. It is bright and cheerful. It folds easily for storage and you can turn the music off easily. Did I mention that my daughter loves it?!!Customer Review: My granddaughter loves this!
