Excellent cover! I had purchased the polka-dot covered boppy originally but the fabric was like sandpaper. Even I wouldn't want to sleep on it! This organic cover is jersey knit and super soft, neutral. My newborn does tummy time on it and her face rubs up against it without any problems. I bought two! I purchased this to have as a back up to my Boppy Classic Nursing Pillow with Soft Boa Slipcover, Teddy Bears, while the teddy bear cover was in the wash. It's not near as nice as the teddy bear cover, but is still of good quality.Customer Review: Boppy pillow itself is not organic

I wish I reseached this subject before buying the pillow. It contains the toxic flame retardants, toxins that are associated with hyperactivity and neurobehavioral damage.
After a few hour-long washing cycles it still smells! I doubt that even the organic slipcover will protect my baby...

This slipcover is so soft, a little stretchy, like jersey cotton sheets. I was worried about the color, but even with dogs and brothers in the house all stains have washed out in the laundry. I use this one in the den. It tends to show dirt quickly so it gets washed a lot. My little girls is old enough now she notices the little pea pod on the front. She likes it and so do I!
