Baby Products Reviews of Boon Squirt Baby Food Dispensing Spoon in OrangeCustomer Review: Easy to use, easy to clean, a miracle for our 4 month old's feeding time! Summary: 5 Stars
Our four month old has never learned to use a bottle. Now that she's old enough to have a little cereal mixed in with her breastmilk, this squirt spoon has been a savior! Warmed up breastmilk + rice cereal in the squirt spoon is a HUGE hit. It's SO nice to be able to feed her with such an efficient one-handed motion. Beats the heck out of everything else we tried. Had a bit of a problem when we did pureed apple and milk, since the apple skins would clog the opening a little. Might've been how I pureed the apple. But for cereal and milk? AWESOME.
Customer Review: Can't live without it Summary: 5 Stars
I have never written a review but this one deserves it. I can't be so selfish not to share it with the rest of moms out there. I simply love this spoon. It makes the whole eating faster and clean as can be. I started using it since by baby was 4 months. He is almost 8 and still use. It is also very practical to carry food when travelling in your diaper bag as it has the convenient cap that won't spill and you don't have to pass from one recipient to another. It is definitely a must in your list when planning your baby shopping.
Customer Review: Works well but the spoon is too deep Summary: 3 Stars
I am overall impressed with the quality of this spoon. I figured it would probably leak but I could feed my son soup out of it if I wanted without any leaks. Very easy to clean too.
The problem is the actual spoon part is too deep for my 7 month old to get the food off of. It is like leveling a measuring spoon every time I give him a bite. Maybe when he gets a little bigger he will have the coordination to use his upper lip to scoop the food out of the bowl of the spoon... I just wish the tip was a little flatter
Customer Review: What you don't know you need Summary: 5 Stars
This is one of those products that you don't even know you need! It'll be a standard shower gift for everyone I know from now on. My 6-month old was constantly trying to "help" feed himself and required clothing changes and a hose down after every feeding until we started using the spoons. I bought two and am going to be purchasing a couple more since we're using them three times a day. The only downfall, but one that's more than worth the decrease in laundry and baths, is that it is hard to get the last of the food out.
Customer Review: A God-send Summary: 5 Stars
Once my 7 1/2 month old figured out how to get his fingers into his food, mealtime became increasingly messy. I though the spoon was cute, but it's way more than that. I can feed him with minimal spilling whether or not he sits still, and if he decides to help by squeezing the spoon, I can maintain control. I'm planning to get another one and will add this to my baby shower gift list. The storage cap is great too, because if he does not finish a meal, we can close the spoon and refrigerate it till he is willing to try again.
