It works very well for stage one or stage two or any pureed baby foods. Don't try it with stage three or cereal or you will get a surprise when it spurts out all over the place.
It does a great job at minimizing the mess that occurs when you move food from a bowl or jar to baby's constantly moving mouth.
It works just like advertised. It's easy to clean and works great when prepared and put in the diaper bag for outings. (It has a cap to prevent leaks.) It makes a great and unique baby shower gift. I suggest buying it early on so that you get the most use out of it as possible because, once again, it's not much good after stage 2/pureed foods.

Can't believe I waited for my second baby to try this product! It's fantastic! I even purchase two (one for the home and the other for the diaper bag). This spoon allows for one-handed feeding for busy parents like myself. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars and not 5 is because it does waste some baby food. Like glue, air gets trapped and you have to give it a shake, but then it pops back and can get messy, but otherwise a great product. A must for on the go parents and its a great traveling item.

bought this for my 4 moths old, for her first cereal and for a future travel. LOVE IT! I was SO nerves to feed my little one for the first time and it went better then i could Imagen! NO mess, It took us less then 15 min.
Most of the mess w/feeding comes from the bottom of the spoon, because it has as much food as the top.
Well with this spoon it is not an issue.
I also like the fact that you can keep the leftovers because it does not get contaminated, just rinse the spoon part, snap cap on and put back in the fridge!-NO WAIST!
I am buying this SUPER spoon for all my friends who has, will, or planing on having kids

I bought 3 of these for my daycare thinking that they would help at lunch time. I have family with twins that loved them. I found them so-so.
Pros-
The idea is good
You can screw on your baby food jar to fill the spoon
Cons-
It squirts
It clogs
You still have to use a spoon to get the bottom of the food out of either the jar or the boon handle otherwise-
It wastes food
In short I will probably try them again when they are a little bigger(last time used was age 6 months) If I am still not liking them, I will be returning the 2 unopened ones.

I really loved the concept in the beginning but find I have similar complaints as the others.
Cons:
1)Waste of food left in cavity.
2)food sputters out if its even a little chunky
3)doesn't work with homemade food
4)spoon hole is difficult to clean
5)The scooping into the cavity can be messy
Pros:
1) Compliments. People think its neat when you are using it.
2) works best with yogurt or jarred food.
The main issue is your child will only use it for a short period, from maybe 6-10 months. Not worth the investment.
