We bought these for our baby after my husband saw one in use and dubbed it the Mary Poppins spoon. :) It works fabulously. My only issue is as a previous reviewer said, if you make your own baby food a small chunk may clog it briefly. This hasn't been an issue for us with most things, but bananas - for example - will have this issue at least a half dozen times per feeding.
We just solved it by keeping a clean bib/napkin/etc. nearby and if we feel resistance to squeeze it onto that and then scoop up any spray. At the end we use that for the initial wiping of baby's face that is always necessary for a learning eater.
It is extremely easy to clean and much easier to carry than any other container I've used so far. I can tuck it spoon up in the side pouch of the diaper bag with no worries of leaks or forgetting to pack a clean spoon. Plus I don't have to keep track of baby's hands relative to grabbing the spoon and bowl, just the spoon. I would recommend it to anyone to have on hand.

I absolutely LOVE this spoon! I generally only use it when I'm out in public because for me the main reason for using this spoon is that I only have to use one hand to feed my son. This is especially handy when I'm at a restaurant trying to feed myself too and, of course, he wants to eat at the same time. I can even feed him with my left hand (and I'm a righty) with no problem. You control the amount of food that comes out with your squeeze so you're able to give the baby just the right amount. Most of the time, I don't even use a bib when I use this spoon because it really does take all of the mess out of feeding baby food to an infant. Also, when using this spoon you don't run the risk of baby grabbing the jar/container of food and getting it all over himself and the restaurant. :)

I absolutely LOVE this spoon! It is so much easier to feed him! I have 2 toddlers running around besides my baby (6 mos old)and I LOVE not having a jar and spoon sitting next to me to have to keep an eye on while feeding him.
It's also MUCH cleaner! possibly because there's no food on the UNDER side, like you'd get from dipping in a jar, you can hardly tell he ate after I finish with the Squirt. He's not covered in food.
AND it's a one handed job. I'm a single-working-mom of my 3 babes and just this morning I was fixing bowls of cereal for the 3 yr old and 2 yr old and had the Squirt in one hand, going over to the baby every few min to give him another bite. ONE HANDED OPERATION!! YAAAAY!
I'm only sad that once he graduates to food with chunks, this spoon will be out :(

I received this for my baby shower and recently began using it with my daughter. This is a great product! It is far less messy than a spoon and jar or bowl, makes it easy to feed with one hand, and is portable thanks to the clip-on spoon cover. I can whip up some yogurt with fruit puree, dispense into the spoon, stick in the fridge, and then grab and go.
There are a few small flaws, though. The spoon cover can be difficult to get attached. The angle of the container portion of the spoon makes it difficult to get the last little bit out. And perhaps the most frustrating issue is that the opening to dispense food is tiny, so if you make your own baby food (which tends not to be as smooth as jarred baby food), you may get some jams. Despite these issues, this is still a worthwhile product for parents of babies.

I got this when we were out of town and used it for our 6 month old's first solid food experiance! He LOVED it! It's very easy to fill & clean. My only complaint is once the food starts running low there is a lot of excess still on the orange handle inside. When trying to pull the leftover food forward you sort of have to 'flick' the spoon to have the food come to the opening of the spoon.. that sometimes results in food splashes on the highchair but it's already a mess from my little one as it is!! lol.. all in all, we have been so amazed since we got this. I am going to get one for each baby shower I attend. We also travel quite a bit, so filling up the spoon and putting the little cap in is super convienent. Lastly.. if you visit [...] you can order several boon products and get free shipping with no minimum cost! FYI!!
