This item is just GREAT. Perfect for on the go mom. I have a 8 month old who is awesome and he just seems to love this spoon. I think it's great because I can feed him just about anywhere i.e (grocery store, mall,park) anywhere! Without having to fuss with a bowl, spoon and clean up. the concept is great, though i give it 2 stars bc if you make your own baby food ANY BIT of chunk (even the slightest) will not fit through the squeeze whole. squeeze the spoon harder to force the clog through and you end up with a splattered mess all over your babies face! I almost bought this spoon but researched into whether or not it was made with Polycarbonate plastic. Based on reports, Boon will not release a BPA-Free version until Summer 2008 and the packaging will distinctly state "BPA-Free." This is a novel idea, but I'm not sure it's in my child's best interest. If a baby starts solids when they should (somewhere around 6-10 months) then shouldn't they get to see mom dipping the spoon in the bowl and learning so that they soon will be able to do it for themselves? THIS PRODUCT HAS MADE FEEDING MY BABY GIRL FUN AND EASY! I LOVE IT, IT'S VERY EASY TO CLEAN, AND MY DAUGHTER DOESN'T GET FRUSTRATED ABOUT GETTING HER FOOD FASTER BECAUSE THE FOOD IS INSIDE THE SPOON. JUST SQEEZE AND FEED! I LOVE IT! GREAT PRODUCT, IF I COULD GIVE 10 STARS I WOULD!
