Customer Review: Very sturdy!

I ordered this for my son for Christmas. He loves the bright colours and I love that his snacks don't get crushed in a bag anymore. I can see where people say their little ones can't get their hands in it, but I just shake the snacks out so it's not a big deal. I was a little wary of the lid because a lot of people said it was flimsy, but I disagree. Plus this makes a great toy to roll on the floor. I liked the look and the concept of this snack carrier, but was disappointed that:
1. The opening was small and difficult for my 14 month old to get her hands into
2. The orange lid was too difficult to slide off
3. Once the lid was open, my toddler decided it would be easier to get the Cheerios if she just dumped them out on the floor.
Like others, this has ended up in the toy bin rather than the kitchen cupboard. Now I use Ball freezer jam containers for her snacks. (These are pretty cool. They are plastic "jars" with screwtop lids)

Like all Boon products, this little snack ball looks cool. Our two-year old loves to play with it, but gets frustrated when she can't open it. When she does open it, its not by swiveling the orange top around according to design, but by ripping it off. Then the snacks spill out - victory for baby, frustrating for parents. We spent a lot of time trying to teach her to swivel the top, and picking up snacks, and then just gave up. We've gone back to ziplock bags. Customer Review: great look!! Not so functional

I love the Boon products ( and bought them all) because the look is sleek and modern. But the reality is that the are not that functional. My daughter loves her Cheerios when I put them an the snack ball is a total mess she picks one and the ball rolls & flips and spill all the other ones all over the car, the carpet etc. The good news is that not everything is lost; we still use it as a toy & to store her snacks and put then into the Munchkin snack catcher. Customer Review: looks cute, fits snacks but won't stay in place

it just rolls and if you want to leave it on the table for a second (cos moms do need all of thier limbs all the time) forget it....
