We purchased the Boon Otto a few months ago. My daughter had a ton of stuffed animals - a ton! She got them all in there with room to spare. Now she can still see them, but they're not everywhere in the house. It's holding up nicely to abuse from not only her, but her friends as well. She sits on it all the time - watches tv or does her homework. She even slept on it one night. I think her friend slept on it another night. I sat on it too and it's just as comfortable as any other bean bag. It fits nicely in the corner of her room and sticks out about 4 feet from the wall. Take out noisemaking animals as they tend to go off when you sit on it. Once full of animals the bean bag is extremely heavy and really awkward to move, so I suggest you fill it up where you plan to use it.
It really is the best I've seen in stuffed animal storage. Totally worth the price.

This is great for storing all those stuffed animals my daughter receives. I try to get rid of them but she still plays with most of them. SHe also wanted a bean bag chair. Boon took care of all my problems. SHe can keep her animals and easily pull them out to play with them. She has a seat to watch TV on.Mom is happy because the critters are no longer taking over the house. So far the quality seems great, we've had it a few months and the netting is holding up well (main concern), and I like that the fur doesn't seem to shed (I have tile,so I don't know how this does on carpet). Does hold alot of stuffed toys and they do settle after awhile, making room for more.
It would be nice if they were cheaper. I would like to give them out as gifts, but this one was a stretch for me. As I said the quality seems really great so far, so I guess that justifies the price.

I think this is a great idea. but when I filled it with my kids animals, it became very heavy. to the point where the kids (ages 3 and 6) can't move it around on their own.
I did not over-fill it. there is plenty of room for more animals in there.
not only can't THEY move it, but it is hard for me to move. and at one point I ripped one of the mesh windows while moving it. recently I notice that two of the other windows are ripped.
I guess I would recommend this if you plan to leave it in one spot all the time. but that wasn't how we wanted to use it, so for us it didn't work out.
the $80 price tag is too high in any case (whether it works or not).
the material is nice and it is a great idea. but that isn't cutting it for us. wish I hadn't blown that big chunk of cash.

I laughed at reviews suggesting that this bag would hold all of the stuffed toys in MY home! I exhausted myself gathering toys in a lg laundry basket from every room in my house...includng the kitchen! I counted 7 1/2 baskets and am thrlled to announce that they all fit and I am free of their clutter. Also, unlike toy bins, they don't get dumped out looking for a specific toy because all 5 windows have a zipper w/ a large rubber pull that even my 2 1/2 yr old can open. Ooh happy days!
Other assets: it's made well, does make a fun chair, has a small foot print for what it holds, and is WELL WORTH its price.
Drawback: 2 Elmos had to go because they kept asking for hugs when the kids sat on it;)

I bought this chair about 3 months ago because I felt like I was drowning in stuffed animals. I saw it in Parents magazine, and knew I had to have it. At first, it seemed a bit expensive, but once it came in the mail I knew it was worth every penny. The bag fit 3 very large garbage bags full of stuffed animals! AND it is SOOOOO soft and comfy. My daughter abosolutely loves it. The stuffed animals are easy to get to, and its fun to switch around which ones will be showing through the little windows.
I swear, this is the coolest toy/chair/thingy ever made and if you hate stuffed animals as much as I do you should absolutely get it.
