Customer Review: Plenty of bathtime fun

We bought Bob for our daughter when she was a little over a year old, and we've now had him almost a full year now. He was instantly a hit because of his bold design and different shape. She does have several other rubber duckies, but Bob stands out. He is usually the one she reaches for, and we have had many bathtime adventures with him.
We have not had the problem of him taking on water like others have mentioned. He seems to be good and watertight. He will loll over to one side if tipped over, but most ducks do. It actually is a source of amusement for my daughter to tip him over. He is very easy to clean - almost no nooks and cracks for mold to grow, and very easy to wipe down. He's held up beautifully and still looks as new as the day he arrived in the mail.
This has proved to be a wonderful bath toy and I recommend the Boon ducks to everyone. It is very comforting that he is nontoxic as well. We look forward to eventually adding some friends for him from the other members of the Odd Duck family.

I bought this duck in hopes of something more natural for my baby to play with during bath time. Not a great choice as a couple of days after we recieved it in the mail I noticed that the bill is pealing! It is so small that you would have to look for it but I don't know what kind of material it is made out any my baby puts everything in her mouth (7 months). I don't want her to accidently swallow a piece of this ducks bill! Yuck! The bill is the first thing in her mouth when I hand her the toy! I am going to try The Original Rubber Duck Sitting instead and hopefully that will be a better choice for us!Customer Review: Not a bath toy

I bought the Boon Odd Duck (Bob) for my 1-year old to use as a bath toy. Big Mistake! The bottom piece is attached to the duck with an adhesive (which has a chemical smell). If the duck is squeezed, the bottom detaches itself slightly, and not only is the adhesive exposed, but water also enters in a location that is difficult to dry (and therefore might lead to mold growth). Even if the duck is not squeezed, there is still a gap where water can accumulate. This bottom piece is completely unnecessary, and if they had not added it, the duck would have been a great toy.Customer Review: Bob's the Best

Bob has been a great tub toy for my soon-to-be 10 month-old. He "paddles" very smoothly and swiftly in the water, is fun to watch while twirling with the funky orange lines, and my son loves holding him down in the water and watching him pop up to the surface. Bob also gets chewed on quite a bit since my son's teething, so I like the fact that he's free of BPA, phthalates, PVC. We haven't had any issues with smell, or water getting in Bob. Definitely a good buy, and we'll be adding another Odd Duck to the menagerie of bath toys at birthday time!Customer Review: Nice rubber duck

I bought Bob for my 5 month old son's easter basket, which of course I have already given him =) But he loves to play with Bob at bathtime, the bright colors are a definate plus with the swirls, my son will stare at him forever and loves to kick at him and send him spinning around the tub. Great purchase, will probably be purchasing more odd ducks as he gets older.
