Baby Products Reviews of Boon Fluid -No-Spill Toddler Cup in Orange/BlueCustomer Review: Cool design; not functional Summary: 1 Stars
I was really excited to find this cup...for all the reasons listed in other reviews: cool design,BPA free, leak-proof..etc.. but I was really disappointed to find that the cap is almost impossible to get off...need to use my teeth, and the liquid doesn't come out of the slit. My son sucks and sucks, and nothing comes out...I have to ask myself is this "toddler" cup made for an infant or a toddler???? I am going to look into getting a refund of $5 from Boon...Don't buy this cup until they redesign it...!!!
Customer Review: Cute concept but poorly designed Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this for my 18 month old son thinking that it is safer because it is free of harmful additives in the plastic....and it looked cute too! There are two main problems with it. It leaks, not from the tip but from where it connects with the sippy cup and it is soooo hard to get off! I've had to use my teeth to remove the spout so I can clean it! I've used it a couple times but the problems persisted so I won't be using it again. I would skip this one and go for another option.
Customer Review: Difficult for babies to figure out Summary: 2 Stars
I purchased this a few months ago for my daughter when we were trying out different sippy cups. She wasn't able to figure out how to drink from it. I still give it to her periodically to see if she'll get it, but now she's excited about straw sippy cups, so I don't think we'll ever get any use out of this cup. It's also difficult/impossible to clean the bottom of it, even using a bendable bottle brush, so I wouldn't recommend using it for anything besides water.
Customer Review: Looks Cool But Not Functional Summary: 2 Stars
I bought this cup for my 15 month old son because I too love Boon products. We have the potty chair and other feeding products from Boon that we love. This cup, however, is so difficult for my son to drink from and it leaks like crazy. He has figured out how to shake it and make a nice mess on our hardwood floors :) Also the lid is so difficult to get off espeically with a screaming toddler tugging at your pants asking for more milk!!! I would skip it altogether.
Customer Review: great sippy! Summary: 5 Stars
This sippy is great! My 9 month old son has no problems holding it or sucking out of it. I had no issues taking the spout off as it has a small "lip" to pry with your fingers. It does drip slightly when held upside down, but what sippy doesn't? We LOVE this sippy and recommend highly! The only issue we see with it is cleaning, it's a very unique shape and you've gotta wiggle that bottle brush in there to get the bottom middle part.
