I would actually rate this about 3.5 stars.
Pros: The white portion of the product is soft and flexible, so if your child falls into it, it's going to hurt LESS than hitting the hard metal faucet. I'm not saying it's not going to hurt at all, just less chance of a more serious cut or injury.
The water fans out in a waterfall, so your child can sit further back from the faucet and still be able to play with the water as the tub fills.
Cons: The resevoir for the bubble bath sometimes leaks, from the outlet where it's supposed to come out, but occasionally around the sides too. Not enough leakage to make a big mess while the Boon Flo is on your faucet. If you want to remove it for your own bathtime, however, the flip-top where you pour in the liquid has a VERY loose seal, so you have to be careful where you store the Boon Flo when not in use, as it will leak.
Also, I usually only get two or 3 bubble baths out of how much liquid the resevoir holds before I have to refill it. Maybe my brand of bubble bath doesn't suds as much as others.
Overall, not bad. My daughter loves the waterfall, but the bubble bath dispenser could be better designed.

First the bad : we have a standard Moen tub faucet. The Flo doesn't *quite* sit right on the faucet, so we have to play with it a bit to get all the water to go down the slope, rather than out the back of the Flo. But it's not really a big deal, just takes a bit of adjusting.
The good : My daughter (11 months old) loves to play with the water coming from the faucet. The Flo allows her to sit a little further back (thus sparing me stress every time she gets a little tippy!), and she also really delights in the waterfall effect. When she gets older, I think the bubble bath dispenser will be more appreciated.
Speaking of which, other reviewers have mentioned the bubble bath leaking out -- I have seen a few drops in the "scoop" under the faucet, but nothing major. It's been on a week, and I've yet to need to refill it.
I haven't had any problems with mess with this either. Even when I didn't have it adjusted just right and water was washing backwards under the faucet, it didn't go everywhere, it just ran down the tub side (INSIDE the tub).
If it wasn't for the slightly finicky adjustment necessary, I'd have given this 5 stars!
Customer Review: No More Bathtub Bumps And Bruises

Thank goodness Boon has designed the Flo. My kids love to have a splashing good time in the tub and usually come in contact with the plumbing fixtures. This product has more than paid for itself the first time we used it. My 18 month daughter is a base jumper(surely not suicidal at 18 months;) ) and managed to sneak one by me in the tub. Ofcourse her forehead smacked against the the spout but, the Flo was installed and did it's job. So on it's first use it saved us a trip to the ER+ co-pay, I no longer have high blood pressure at bathtime, and the accusatory dirty looks from strangers have ceased. (but only after the bruises on their faces cleared up- ha,ha) The Flo installs right out of the box similar to a giant clothespin and is easily removed the same way. We plan to take it with us when we travel. It seems to have a universal fit and allows for showers with out removing anything. The "waterfall" fascinates my girls who used to hate washing their hair, washing in the waterfall now ranks up there with Sesame Street. Any family with small children would benefit in owning Boon's Flo.Customer Review: Let it go...

Boons Let it Flo seemed like an awesome idea...the idea - awesome but the product not so much. I tried it on my faucet without a shower stopper and it fell off several times but because it was already out of the box I opted to try it out for the bathtime...when being held in position (by me) the water flowed nicely off it to give a good waterfall to shower off my toddlers soapy head. And it made the water come into the tub nicely as well...but the jist is:
- it doesn't fit my tub (narrow faucet w/o shower stopper)
- the item is made of hard plastic not a softer plastic that would be nice for the little kids heads!
- from using it three times I could tell it was going to breed some awful mildew & soap residue that was going to be a pain to clean
- and while the bubble bath dispenser is a cool idea...it'd be better if you didn't have to continuously push the button to get the soap out...
Sorry Boon - I'm usually a big fan - but not today!

Though I agree this item has some flaws, overall we have been happy with it because our 15-month-old daughter is delighted with it! We do not have a 'shower switch' on our faucet, so the Flo does slide down a bit, but we don't have any problems with the fountain aspect working properly. Our daughter can pull it off, of course, if she wacks it really good, but it goes on and off so easily that it doesn't matter! I like that it looks somewhat cool and isn't a big duck that is difficult to get on and off. We have not used the bubble bath dispenser, so I can't speak to that. We'll see how it holds up over time...we've had it since our daughter's birth but have only been using it regularly the past few months, since she has decided she loves to take a bath. It also does work great for it's primary purpose, which is to keep our child from bumping her head on the tub spigot. We would probably recommend this item, with the advice that it does tend to slide around.
