Customer Review: Great Chair
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought this for my 6-month-old daughter (she is in the 50th percentile for height and weight). The chair came in a HUGE box and was very easy to assemble--it was basically 3 pieces you insert one into the other and then attach 8 bolts. It took me less than 10 minutes by myself. I am 5'7 and it comes almost high enough that I could stand and feed her comfortably (but not quite...I wish it came up another 6 inches but then it'd probably be unstable). I have Pergo floors and was able to roll it around easily. I didn't expect the brake to work after reading all the other reviews, maybe they've fixed it because it doesn't budge when the brake is engaged, even when my daughter rocks around. I went with the orange seat pad after reading about spaghetti and carrot stains, so far it still looks new. I highly recommend the orange! The pneumatic lift is fun, it does make the chair heavy but I don't plan on lifting it. The tray snaps in and out with one hand easily (they must have updated this since the older reviews too). It is smaller than other high chairs but seems big enough so far. The plastic covers are great--one is covered with a huge sticker when it arrives, and doesn't come off easily. I used a blow drier, though, and it came off without leaving residue. Boon should really think about doing something other than a sticker there...we already bought the chair, we don't need the advertising! The reason I give it 4 stars is the harness system doesn't fit my daughter well. I made it as tight as it could go, but it's still VERY loose over her shoulders. However, this isn't a carseat, it's a highchair. Maybe it doesn't have to be so snug. It would make me feel better though. Once the tray is in I don't see how she could fall out. Finally, the chair looks great in our house and we get compliments on it. I'm actually proud of the high chair! I love that it will hold her up to 50lbs and is so easy to clean. I would recommend this to my friends.

Customer Review: My daugther and I love this high chair.
Summary: 4 Stars

I initially purchased this chair for my home, but then, after a few months of using it, decided to purchase a second one for the grandparents' home as well.
Pros: 1) It's easy to clean 2) It's easy to move it around the place and to get my daughter to the sink to wash her without getting her off the chair. And she gets really messy with spagetty or other messy foods, so not having to pick her up and get all that sauce all over me is a great plus. 3) It doesn't take much space. It sits next to the bar and it just feels right and never gets in anybody's way. 4) It looks great. 5) The lift feature is great because the grandparent's home has a lower coffee style table, so by being able to bring the seat down, she can sit next to us in front of the coffee table while we sit on the couch and have dinner. I hadn't seen another high chair that could go so low. And when we eat at the big table, we can lift it higher. It's a great idea. 6) It will grow with her. What child wouldn't love sitting in a high bar style chair while having their hair trimmed? I know she will still love it even when she grows up.
Cons: Only one. And that is that the belt system just didn't work very well for my daughter. We use the bottom part, but not the ones around the arms because she can get out of those very easely. However, she's never fallen or wiggled out out of this chair, eventhough we're only using the bottom harness. It still works fine. I'd also like to add that she is very active when she eats. She even likes to wiggle and dance while munching. And she has fallen out of a regular high chair in someone else's place. But not this one.
We loved this chair. I would highly recommend it.

Customer Review: If only there were 6 stars!
Summary: 5 Stars

I can't describe how thrilled I am with this highchair. I used a Peg Perego with my first 3 kids and it was an absolute nightmare to clean. Cleaning that chair usually involved a fork for grabbing food out of crevices, a scrub brush for the little lines in the "leatherette" seat pad (that was not easy to take out), and some kind of caustic spray cleaner. This chair is a dream come true--no seams, no creases, no cracks, no crevices. I can clean the baby and the chair with 2 wet paper towels! The seat pad (think of the slick foam rafts at the pool) lifts up to wipe underneath and the rest of it is a breeze. The difference in my highchair cleaning time is remarkable. When I first took the chair out of the box I was concerned about the size. The Peg chair was enormous. It not only took up tons of room in the kitchen, but it also swallowed my baby! I had to place a folded towel under her so she could reach the tray. I was horrified when I first saw the tray for this chair. It is tiny. I didn't think there was any way it would work. However! It fits! It locks in snug around baby's belly, minimizing the food that falls in her lap. She sits over the tray rather than reaching up to it...no more reaching for the food that runs away to the edges of the tray. I put my friend's 2 year old in it and she fits fine too--with the tray on the second slot. I really don't have a single complaint about this chair. As other reviewers have noted, the shoulder straps don't fit tight, but because of the way the tray fits right on baby's lap, I feel she is very secure. I don't think there is any way for a kiddo to wiggle out of this one. For the price, I can't imagine a better chair.

Customer Review: Great Design: aesthetically and practically
Summary: 5 Stars

I absolutely love this high chair. The sleek look was the first thing to grab me as i researched, but the overall design really delivers:

* The footprint is nice-sized taking up less real estate than the splayed legs design of most high chairs, and its being on a hydraulic lift allows us to have the baby down at the kitchen table with us, or up at the breakfast bar. (and hydraulic? so cool and so smart)

* The chair, seat pad and tray are all wipe-clean molded-plastic: no crevices for crumbs to collect and fester.

* The straps are really soft and the buckle is definitely nicer quality than on any other item we own (the vibro chair, the swing, the car seat).

* The tray is simple to place and remove, and again, with smooth mechanics.

* The chair being on wheels, I can just roll the baby over to the sink when the meal is finished to wash him and wipe the chair down. Furthermore, I then wheel it over to the fish tank or in front of the fridge magnets, or just back front and center to watch me prepare meals for everyone else while he sits up and digests for 15 minutes.

He is 5 months old and seems very comfortable and happy in it. All of this and the chair looks fantastic; its style fits in our loft perfectly. I really hated the look of nearly all other high chairs -- and its something that you have to look at everyday for years. I LOVE IT!

Only thing I'd change is to make the shoulder straps able to go a little tighter for smaller babies - although he'll be big enough for them soon enough, of course. Waist strap is totally fine.

Customer Review: Great Chair Easy To Clean
Summary: 4 Stars

After owning 6 Peg Peregos and one Stokke, (Don't ask, I have a bit of a high chair and stroller fetish). I wanted to find something easier to clean. Our last Peg ended up with bugs. Not a happy day! My daughter has the kitchen domain and she diligently wiped the high chair after every meal but I was having a difficult pregnancy and failed to mention that food gets in the crevices and you have to take the seat off and clean under it. So, out that high chair went. I researched several high chairs and read every review on this one. So...from someone who is expecting baby number six let me give you the condensed version.
Pros:
I like the design, I actually have a country/cottage style house but the chair fits.
Tray is small so trains them to eat with manners
EASY TO CLEAN
Rolls around easily.
Love the dishwasher trays.
Easy to put together.
Cons:
Seat does not have a recline. That said, I Love the no barka lounger for eating and this is what makes no crevices.
Straps are very flimsy and my 16 month old just pulls them down and slides out of them. Thus she is able to stand up in her chair.
The lock will not stop rolling on tile or hardwood and I don't know that many kitchens/dining rooms with carpet.
The white seat stained on the very first meal. Our first meal in this chair was spaghetti, I immediately wiped it down but it was stained. I tried the magic eraser and that didn't work either. I will be ordering a darker seat.

Overall we are happy with this seat and would recommend.
