This scale is light, easy to store, and simple to use. The shape of it makes it good for infants who lie down as well as older ones who can sit. Gives quite variable weights even if used for the same weight three times in a row. If you are really concerned about your child;s weight gain would recommend buying a more expensive professional medical scale. I purchased this scale to weigh my baby. I found it to be inaccurate- 4-6 oz variations from the scale at the doctor' office. It also gives a wide range of readings with repeat weighs. The variations of repeat weighs are from 1 oz to 8 oz depending on how the baby is positioned or if the baby is moving. It also takes too long to tare/zero. My use of the scale was for my otterhound puppies - it worked well but I think we were challenging it as we had some very tiny puppies at the begining - it is working better now.
My only complaint is that the slightest movement of a puppy seems to make it start all over again with the weight measurement. I tend to weigh 3 times and take the average.

My infant daughter was having trouble gaining weight for a few months. Thanks to this scale I was able to keep track of her weight gain and adjust her feedings as needed. It is a nice size that didn't take up to much space in our nrsery. I could slide it under the changing table and pull it out when I needed it.Customer Review: Great baby scale.

I purchased this baby scale to weigh my cats as I have several who have health issues. This scale is exactly as advertised and very accurate. It is easy to use and cleaning the surface is easy. It gets 5 stars and I would recommend this scale, even for weighing babies!
