When you are going to have a baby, the little and big things that you need really add up fast. So, sometimes you just look for the cheapest thing that will work. However, after my baby was born, I was so worried about her sleeping. This monitor, although expensive, was recommended to me when I was about to move my 4 month old daughter into her room. I can't say enough how wonderful it is. It is the best thing for a new mom's night sleep. I wish that I had it in the beginning.Customer Review: Simple. Easy to install. Works great.

No idea what the complaints about the ticking noise are. I just plugged mine in and have been using it with the factory settings for months. Works great, no problems. As everyone else said it is a great product and a huge relief to have it when you have an early rolling tummy sleeper like our son. I've had mine for five months now and I'd recommend it to anyone - in fact, I'm on this site now to buy one for my brother and his wife who had a new baby this morning.Customer Review: I love the monitor

I am very pleased with this monitor. We have had it for 2 and 1/2 months with no regrets. I really like the reassurance of knowing he ok without checking on him every hour all night. I was worried that we would get a lot of false alarms with the motion sensor, but have not had one. I also like the feature that you can make the sound part voice activated so you don't hear static all night long. I think you can't go wrong with this monitor.Customer Review: WOW!!!

What a Godsend. Our grandaughter who lives with us just had a premie. The baby had some problems in the hospital where she stopped breathing so we decided we needed a SIDS type monitor. I couldn't imagine being without it. After the initial setup it worked perfectly. No false alarms.
We liked this product so much that we will be donating one through our local health department to a needy mother who can't afford one.

The sensitivity may need to be adjusted, but otherwise it was well worth it. Product can be so sensitive, that if the dryer is running in the next room, the product picks up on those vibrations, all while the baby is not even in the crib. However, once we turned down the sensitivity, everything was working A-OK. The temperature setting is very useful - now if they could only add a humidity meter - we would be in heaven.
