Well, I bought this product for my 5 months old son, turns out that the movement sensor is really for the 0-6 months age range. Even with the movement sensor disabled, this is still a good product with loaded features.
What really bothered me about it is that the temperature is displayed in Fahrenheit only, you'd think that a pricey product with so much features should have this function. I have digital clocks that cost a fraction of this monitor's price that have a Celsius/Fahrenheit temperature display.

This product is just what I expected. The only problem that I have encountered is that the monitor that the sensor pad plugs into, stopped working on battery a week in, but it still works just fine with the plug. The product is great. The slightest movement is picked up by the sensor pad and as soon as my son is lifted off; a few seconds later it is beeping and vibrating. The handheld monitors vibrate and have quite a few settings to make you comfortable knowing your child is safe. All-in-all great product.Customer Review: two monitors, no luck

I bought this monitor and after a week the AC adaptor broke and the batteries lasted one night, I sent it back, had very good service from gracco, they sent another one, the same thing happened, the adaptor I use is suitable, the parents units dont have a problem with it, but the main monitor is broken again, my baby is nearly 6, as I leave far away and it takes time to get it and send it back I could only use it for 10 days, I read all the reviews and cant understand how it only happened to me....Customer Review: Outstanding!!!!!

if mine somehow broke or was stolen and they started charging $1000 for this thing id still buy it. this monitor is the only reason I'm sleeping at night. everyone sings the praises of video monitors but unless you watch the screen the whole time your baby is sleeping the video is no help in my opinion. i have had no false alarms as some of the others have claimed so it makes me think maybe they have theirs set up wrong. as for some of the other complaints in these reviews, try reading the manual.Customer Review: Best Product available!

Our daughter has Acid Reflux and this product has helped ease our worries about her chocking on her spit-up. We have had a few false alarms, but those were due to our daughter being so far up in the crib that we couldn't see her when we peeked in!
I would really recommend this product to anyone as it's helped us sleep through the night and not get up every couple hours to check on our little girl.
I would give this product high marks and would recommend it to anyone!
