Really don't like this thermometer. It cost our 3 week old a spinal tap. It is very inconsistent and not very user friendly. The setting for axillary, rectal or oral is hard to read and just getting the thing to work isn't very easy. I would not recommend this product to anyone with a baby. The only positive thing I can say, is that it does give a quick reading in the oral or rectal setting. However, it is hard to know if you are in the oral or rectal setting and you can't trust the reading that you get.
