Knowing the strain that can come with frequently carrying a 26-, 15-, or even 8-pound baby, BabyBj?rn developed this carrier with wide, padded shoulder straps that help to evenly distribute baby's weight. (You should ensure that the straps are adjusted correctly each time you put the carrier on, as baby's size changes and other users may have moved them.) A size adjustment buckle allows BabyBj?rn's carrier to grow with baby-from as early as 8 pounds and at least 21 inches (about one week old) to a maximum weight of 25 pounds. Newborns first face inward using the adjustable head support to keep them stable, while older babies face outward with the head support folded down in front of them.
