Baby Products Reviews of Baby Trend Single Snap N' Go StrollerCustomer Review: Liked it so much, we bought it twice! Summary: 5 Stars
No, it didn't break, we just had a big gap (8 years) between babies! We gave all of our baby gear away after our middle child was born. When we found out we were expecting again, we started checking out the new strollers, figuring that there would be improvements. Well, for the money, this is still, to me, the lightest, most practical stroller. We have a Chicco Keyfit 30 car seat, and while it doesn't snap in, it nests into the opening, and there is a strap for extra security. Yes, this stroller is only good for the infant seat days, but our car seat goes up to 30 pounds, and our baby is a little peanut, so we're going to get many months of use. It is very lightweight and compact (and believe me, you will appreciate that when you have to haul it in and out of your trunk!) I have found it to be plenty sturdy for carrying baby, diaper bag, and packages. No problems with the folding mechanism--it is easy to use and well-made.
Customer Review: Pleased Mom Summary: 4 Stars
I purchased the snap n go stroller for use with my baby trend carseat at a conference. I am a mechanically capable person so assembly was easy though I did struggle a bit attaching the basket, which was on backwards out of package. At the conference the stroller was wonderful. It traversed the grounds of the conference center like a champ and even did some "off-roading" it is was a struggle but the stroller can be controlled with one hand. It is a challenge to get my mid sized diaper bag in and out from under the carrier, but it is just as easy to pick up the car seat grab the bag and replace the car seat. The carseat locks onto the front bar pretty well though I did have to check and make sure both locks caught. I am glad that I purchased the snap n go over a stoller system as it fits into my trunk is easy to get out and use and lets my baby stay sleeping from car to stoller. Overall I would recommend this to others.
Customer Review: You get what you pay for Summary: 3 Stars
Pros: Lightweight, convenient, affordable, take it anywhere stroller. I found this most useful when we recently flew back home and didn't have to worry about having our son's nice(r) stroller getting smashed and mangled along with other luggages that are checked in.
Cons: Flimsy structure, makes me a bit nervous putting my baby in his carrier on it. The button that you press to fold it is of poor quality. Many times, I have to press on it really hard to get it to sink in and snap. All of the cups I've used and put on the holders spilled liquid at the slightest vibration. The material they use as bottom compartment easily tears.
This product is good if: a)You want the convenience especially for traveling b) You want to wait on getting a full size stroller until your baby is a bit bigger. Just don't expect a whole lot from it, other than it being easy to use and cheap.
Customer Review: Practical Summary: 4 Stars
We use this car seat carrier with our Graco Snugride infant carrier. When I see my cousin lugging her huge "SUV" stroller into her actual SUV, I know we made the right choice! The Snap-n-Go if very lightweight, folds up easily, and has held up nicely to a fair amount of abuse. And because it's so small, going out in crowded places isn't as daunting as it might be with a larger stroller.
I have noticed that the ride isn't as smooth as it was five months ago when the baby was born, but it's still OK. There is a good amount of space in the basket but I sometimes have trouble squeezing the diaper bag through the opening in front (and there isn't an opening in the back, which seems like the more logical place for it.)
Overall, though, it serves its purpose well.
Customer Review: Overall excellent, with just a few peeves. Summary: 4 Stars
I have been using this for my daughter with her Chicco Keyfit 30 infant car seat since she was a newborn. She is now almost 5 months old and 18 lbs, and we use it every time we go out of the house.
PROS:
Lightweight
Easy to open/close
Fits into a small trunk or back seat easily
Goes down narrow store aisles
Two cup holders are a nice bonus
Handle is high, which is nice for tall people like myself.
CONS:
Can only be used with an infant seat, so once infant is over 30lbs, it's not useable.
Under-stroller basket is pretty small, and VERY awkward to get stuff out of without lifting the car seat up.
Straps to help secure the infant seat get easily caught under the wheels or in the hinges between uses.
