Baby Products Reviews of Baby Trend Double Snap N Go Stroller Frame, BlackCustomer Review: Horrible Customer Service and Broken Stroller Summary: 1 Stars
PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT. BABY TREND IS A MISERABLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH.
My wife and I purchased this stroller from Amazon.com within the last three months. It pulls to the left when you are pushing it. Not a horrible thing, but still defective. What is horrible is the customer service that we have received from Baby Trend. First don't even try calling them, because every time you call you will be put on hold for 10 minutes and then told by a recorded message that they are experiencing higher then normal call volume and you're hung up on. Second, if after three days of trying like we did and you get through, they'll basically tell you sorry nothing we can do. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT. BABY TREND IS A MISERABLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH.
Customer Review: Essential gear for a parent of twins Summary: 5 Stars
This stroller is a simple metal-and-plastic frame which is light and collapsible (fits in the trunk of a Mini Cooper), and designed to hold two car seats. Some assembly required; cross bars need to be screwed in place with locations determined by the make and model of your car seat (and the instructions for this take a little deciphering). But at least until the twins fit into a larger stroller, this makes for an ideal way to walk them around. And the stroller has handled cobblestone streets, snow and ice without any difficulty. The bin underneath the stroller also comes in handy, though it's a little hard to access when the car seats are in place.
But for the ability to carry twins in style, it's essential gear for at least the first six months.
Customer Review: convenient, light weight, drives nicely Summary: 4 Stars
We use it a couple times a week at least... and love it.
pros: easy to put carriers on, drives nicely even on gravel or grass, turns very easilt, cupholders, folds up small for a double stroller, light weight
cons: the straps that you put around the carriers always get caught in the bars when folding and unfolding
We even used 2 different carrier brands at first. We set one position for EvenFlo, and the other for Graco, and it worked just fine. Now we have 2 Gracos on it. It was easy to change the bars.
Also, it steers easily. You can push on the handle of a carrier from the front and it will turn too. The double wheels up front make it very sturdy.
Customer Review: Absolute Life-Saver Summary: 5 Stars
We have been using this stroller from day 1 with our now 2 1/2 month old twins. We live in a high-rise apartment building on the 6th floor down a long hallway. It's been a complete life-saver getting the boys from the parking garage to our door. The basket below is quite large. I usually hang the diaper bag from the handle bar & fill the basket with whatever I need to (groceries, etc...) then snap the boys in on top. This allows me to do small shopping trips on my own and be able to get everyone and everything into the apartment by myself. We'll start using our duoglider more after they have outgrown this stroller, but the basket in the duoglider only holds about 2/3 of what this one does in the basket.
Customer Review: Great stroller Summary: 4 Stars
I've been using this stroller for about four months and have been very happy with it. It's lightweight, easy to fold and unfold (I can do it with one hand) and is very easy to steer (again, one hand). We have Snugrides and they fit well.
The only reason I subtracted a star is because the directions could have been a lot clearer. It requires some assembly and the pictures didn't quite match the parts I had. The drink tray wasn't even mentioned in the directions. Now this isn't an essential part and it just snapped into place, but when you are assembling something that may affect your children's safety, you really don't want to have pieces left over.
