Baby Products Reviews of Baby Trend Double Snap N Go Stroller Frame, Black

Customer Review: Best Stroller for Infants
Summary: 5 Stars

When we found out we were having triplets, we like all other multiple parents bought a stroller to accommodate all the babies. The stroller is so large that we can not even fit it into a mini van. We have to purchase a large SUV or Full size van to go anywhere.
We bought the Latch Lock carriers from baby trend and we just love them. When we saw the stroller that went along with them. We decided to order the Double Snap N Go.
The stroller comes all put together, you just need to snap on the wheels. Then comes the fun part. The stroller is made for many different brands of carriers. You find the carrier you are using in the instruction manual and then you remove bars or rearrange them to fit your carrier. It is very simple and all the parts are well labeled.
The carriers just snap on to the top, just like when you snap them into the base that is in the car. There is a strap that goes over the lower half of the carrier to prevent it from rocking or coming off the stroller. It is great because you do not have to unsnap your baby from the car seat and them snap them into the stroller. No need to transfer toys and blankets from car seat to stroller. What a time saver.
It is very light weight and easy to set up. I pull it out of the trunk and just snap and lock it into place. I then just snap the carriers in place and we are off. It takes up the same amount of room that a normal single travel system would take up.
For all you shoppers out there. I took the stroller into a women's clothing store and was able to easily navigate the store. The stroller handles very well. The front wheels are adjustable. You can set them for straight ahead or let them rotate.
Because we have 3 babies, we easily become a tourist attraction. The stroller handles so well that I was able to move swiftly and accurately through spectators and display racks.
We love the Double Snap N Go so much that we have asked for the Single Snap N Go for our Baby Shower.

Customer Review: Good, low cost alternative. Hard to steer.
Summary: 3 Stars

We bought this to use with the peg perego car seats. While it does the job, it is very cumbersome to steer. Also, if you're on the smaller side, it's neearly impossible to get moving. I actually grunt while pushing off. Still, it's so inexpensive compared to the peg perego tandem. I'd have to say that I'd probably buy it again. Here are a few other twin things that I could not live without:

The Joovy Room2 playpen
2 Nap Nannys in camel color(fit perfectly inside of bassinets I used for a week)
2 Boppy fullsize swings. I have the travel version, but the babies just don't like it. ???
2 Angelcare monitors. These detect every breath the babies take.
Medela Pump in Style Advanced Breastpump. Three babies later, it's still going strong.
Medela microwave steam clean bags
Williams Sonoma automatic soap dispenser-- I must wash my hands a zillion times a day.
Any baby bouncer.
zippered sleepers---please!
mary jane and johnny socks are better than shoes
loved baby brand knit caps in every color
bulb syringe
a digital thermometer
baby nail clippers
tons of very lightweight bath towels to use with one hand

Things I really hated, or just didn't work well:

Baby wipes warmers. They never quite warm them and the wipes dry out quickly.
All baby bathtubs. We tried two, but find the sink to be so much cleaner and quicker. There is really no good place to store these besides the empty bathtub.
Snap-shut sleepers (I hate SNAPS!)
Newborn shoes. Both of our babies would kick these off before we were even out the door. The socks that look like little shoes are adorable. Plus, you'll get five pairs for the price of one.

Customer Review: A Must Have with Twins!!! I LOVE 5 Stars

Before I had my twins, I wanted to do all the research I could on strollers and carriers. I researched strollers for months and wanted all the bells and whistles. Well, my husband and I went to Toys R Us and had a "hands on" experience with each double stroller. I had my heart set on the Graco Quattro Tour Duo Stroller and NOTHING was going to change my mind! Well, once I had my hands on it and tried 2 infant seats in it, it didn't meet my expectations! The stroller was very heavy to lift, steer, and a struggle to get the carseats in! I had to literally turn one seat vertical just to get it in! Ugh... We tried the Baby Trend stroller and I was still unsure b/c it wasn't much to look at... Well, we finally decided to start with the Baby Trend double Snap N Go stroller and get another later if I didn't like it. Well, after using it for 2 months, I am in LOVE with it! You can't really go anywhere without it if you are by yourself and have 2 carriers... It is soooo easy to set up, manuever, pick up, etc. I absolutely LOVE this stroller! The only thing that I would like to see them fix is to have a drop down basket. It's hard to get in and out of the basket, but I'll take it over a bulky-HEAVY stroller any day! When the girls get big enough we'll get an umbrella double stroller for them to sit in, but for now, this is the stroller for us and I am SURE you would agree! We bought Graco Snugride carriers and they fit PERFECT! IT was sooooo easy to adjust the settings to fit the carriers and I LOVE the fact that we can adjust them for another type of stroller. That gives anyone the opportunity to be able to use this stroller. It has 2 cupholders and a small storage with a closing top on the handle bar. Easy to fold and lock.... Just can't say enough about it! Hope this helps!!!

Customer Review: Baby Trend Customer Service is Unacceptable
Summary: 1 Stars

I was given a double snap-n-go stroller as a baby gift from a relative. After two uses, the stroller broke and will no longer fold down. Not only was I stranded in a parking lot when the stroller broke, but I have been unable to use the stroller --- and thus, unable to leave the house with my newborn twins - for TEN WEEKS while I have gone back and forth with Baby Trend's customer service department.

The Baby Trend customer service department has had me disassemble the stroller three times ... take and email two pictures of the broken stroller ... I have had 3+ phone conversations with 4 different customer service reps ... I've waited a total of ten business days for two different boxes that were sent to me -- NEITHER of which was large enough for the stroller. All the while, I am a mother of four children under 4 years of age. They have been completely unreasonable in what they've asked me to do ... the latest request is to wrap the stroller in a black garbage bag to send it back to them ... something that FedEx highly discourages (and says there will likely be damage to the stroller).

I have literally missed out on many family experiences due to this broken stroller and Baby Trend's refusal to remedy this issue. We can not take out twins out of the house without a double stroller - and unfortunately, we made the mistake of getting a Baby Trend product.

Do not make the mistake of buying this product. The only thing worse than the quality of the product is the level of customer service you will get from Baby Trend.

Customer Review: Good investment
Summary: 5 Stars

Assembly instructions easy to follow and quick to put together. Also like that the stroller breaks down easily and small enough to put in a car trunk. Securely accommodates our Graco Snugride car seats. Cons would be that once they outgrow their infant seats, the stroller is no longer useful. Also, once the seats are in place, the bottom basket is no longer accessible, not really an issue for me but seems kind of odd. Even though the stroller feels like you are driving a bus, the front wheels make turns easily. The drink/bottle holder and small compartment near the handle are convenient. Would recommend this product.
Update: Now that we have been using this for a while I thought I'd add a couple observations. As my boys are getting bigger and heavier this stroller is harder to maneuver. I tell everyone it is like driving a bus, but the best way to describe it is trying to drive an extremely full cart at the grocery store. Turning corners has become interesting to say the least. Because the stroller is so long and you are pushing from behind, parking lots and store isles can be tricky too...U kind of have to inch out and make sure no one is coming. I would still recommend this product because it is so easy to set up and get the babies from the car to wherever you are headed. Any outing with infant twins can be hectic, this stroller simplifies in and out of the car at least. Their infant seats pop on and off the stroller with ease, and are quite secure when they are engaged. Would make the same purchase again if I had the choice no doubt.
