Baby Products Reviews of Baby Trend Diaper Champ in BlueCustomer Review: A Must-Have for New Moms Summary: 5 StarsI highly recommend the diaper champ! It keeps the smell out of the room and it is easy to use. You just have to make sure to change the bag when the handle won't flip. The other trick is to close the diaper up so the sticky sides don't stick onto the inside of the lid. If you do those two things, there is no smell! I also love the fact that any tall kitchen bag fits. Definitely worth the $$
Customer Review: Excellent Diaper Pail Summary: 5 StarsExcellent product. Very easy to use. So smell yet, son is only 3 months old. Much better than the diaper genie, which is an extreme pain to use and you can actually get your hands dirty putting the diaper into the pail. My only complaint with this product is it is somewhat difficult to open.
Customer Review: Dream Come True! Summary: 5 Stars100% perfect. I am a Dad and this should REALLY be taken into consideration for fellow Dads. The most IMPORTANT thing for me is that you don't have to buy those refill bags like the diaper genie. This thing uses REGULAR TRASH BAGS! This thing is SO easy to use it's unbelievable. Take a Dad's word for it... GET THIS. And another thing, it only smells when you open the sealed lid to change the bag.
Customer Review: Never buy a refill again!! Summary: 4 StarsWe had purchased one of those "other" diaper pails, you know, the kind with the refills. We found one whose refills were less expensive. Unfortunately, the brand went under or something, and we could no longer find the cartridges. Then we found this gem. No refill cartridges, any bag will do. We use scented kitchen trash bags. Our only complaint is that this isn't very airtight, and gets smelly quite quickly. Other than that, the best diaper pail money can buy.
Customer Review: gets stuck too often Summary: 2 StarsWe are using a diaper service and use the champ to collect and contain the diapers in the nursery. The champ tends to stick about half of the time. The diaper hangs from the cylinder mechanism and needs to be pulled through. I suggest using a trash can with a tight lid.
