Our 7 month old is a, shall we say, husky kid. All of our children have started out big and then stretched so we go through car seats fast. This one lasted longer than most and was very easy to get in and out of the car. I liked it a lot better than the ones we had that had a back release latch. It's much easier to get it out by pulling the release at the front of the seat. the base is sturdy and stays locked in place if you belt it down properly. Simple to transfer between cars as well!
