My 19 month old absolutely loves this soother. He has been going to sleep with it since about 12 months. We used the Rain Forest soother before and after forgetting it at grandma's once, we purchased this one instead. It plays a lot longer than the others on the market, which has worked great for my son who takes a while to go to sleep. The music is soothing and he loves his fish! I do agree that if you play it a lot you have to replace the batteries. But that is true with any product. We always keep an extra set of C4s on hand in case the batteries die right before he is going to bed.Customer Review: Good

This product is pretty good. I like that the fish move across the screen - seems to be better than the Fisher Price one. However, the fish do stop moving during the stage 2 when the music gets softer which I don't like. Also the straps to hook onto your crib are not long enough. If you have a standard, thin edged crib it will work fine. But my crib has about a 2"-3" top edge that it will not go around so I have it sitting in the crib which is hard for my baby to see unless laying sideways. That's my biggest complaint about it. Otherwise it runs smoothly, the music and sounds are nice.Customer Review: Great - when it works

We are on our third "Soother"; each time the fish stopped swimming. It was NOT a battery issue. We always change the batteries first. It's not been all bad. The manufacturer "Kids II" has always been responsive and usually will send us a new unit. For us it's worth the effort because our baby loves the soother. Yes, it's annoying that they break; but the customer service is fantastic. I love that they stand behind their product. For those that say these are battery hogs - try rechargeables. We keep a supply of "C" and "AA" which are the most common for baby toys. Good luck!Customer Review: Such a LIFESAVER!!!!

This is such a wonderful crib toy! My 2 month old loves it ... it keeps her entertained while I go shower or put up some laundry.
I do want to say that I have not had any problems with it. it does take a TON of batteries but I would say it is well worth every penny for keeping your child happy while you get something done. this plays music or nature sounds so it can be a playtime toy or a quiet time toy as well.
even my 4 year old loves it! then again what small child doesnt want to play with a baby toy? some how they are attracted to them!

My only complaint with this - the "low" volume is still a bit loud. We have a different brand soother that our 2 year old still uses and his is much quieter. While baby is falling asleep to music, we can hear it loudly over the baby monitor. I purchased this model because it's shown free standing on a dresser. My 2 year old's doesn't do that and we had to rig it up it his head board now that he's in a bed (vs. crib). So, despite the volume, I would still recommend the product because it can be transitioned for use on a night stand on dresser.
