Baby Products Reviews of Baby Einstein Activity Keys

Customer Review: Just okay...with some good features
Summary: 3 Stars

My son received this key set as a gift, it has been mildly diverting: in his first month the 'traffic lights' caught his eye, and the slim white handle was the first thing he grabbed onto -- the teether is a good shape and soft for gums. The set, however, only keeps him occupied for a moment; the bread slice is the least interesting piece and I wish I could remove it but the set is screwed in place. It's difficult for him to focus on any one feature. I found individual soft rings were better for grasping and teething. Inexpensive, could attach to a chair/stroller with a plastic link for mild amusement.

Customer Review: Good toy for the price
Summary: 5 Stars

I wanted to purchase some inexpensive toys to have on hand for when my niece (9 mos) and nephew (3 mos) come over. The 9 month old loves real keys, so I was hoping this would be a nice alternative for her. Good points are that it makes noise when you rattle it and when you push the yellow button the red and green buttons light up. She was slightly interested, but it didn't hold her attention for long. She was much more interested in the Baby Einstein piano I picked up because it incorporates sounds and lights. Overall, though, this was a good toy for the money and I think the 3 month old will enjoy it.

Customer Review: great toy
Summary: 5 Stars

My twins love this. My daughter refuses to let go of it and carries it around with her everywhere, so much so that I had to get a second for my son. They got more fun out of it once they figured out how to make the traffic lights come on themselves.

Edit: 9 months later and my twins are almost 19 months old. They still dig these out of the toy basket every so often. Once they started to teethe in earnest, they bit the teether "keys" quite frequently. This is honestly the best toy in terms of enjoyment and sheer amount of use your child will get out of it.

Customer Review: Great Teether and Entertainer
Summary: 5 Stars

My 6 month old daughter just loves this toy. Easy for her to hold, easy to take on outings. Nice size, not too
big and not too small. Perfect for tiny hands. And I like that there is nothing to poke her in the eye like some
teethers do b/c of their shape. Nice smooth feel too. The light is cute which my dtr likes to look at when I push it but she mostly likes to mouth it. I washed it up really good with warm soapy water and it has been fine. No smells for us like one of the reviews mentioned. It is brightly colored and much nicer in person.

Customer Review: Cute but too big.
Summary: 2 Stars

This the teether is cute but too big! I bought these for my three month old son who started to teething at 2 months in hopes these keys would help him ease his pain. He hates them. He loves toys but this one totally unintrests him. He gets mad if I try to show him that he can put the Keys in his mouth. The fews times he has tried he looks uncomfortable because of the large size and drops them to move on to another toy. Maybe better for a bigger baby?
