Our twins have enjoyed this gift daily for their first two months of life. However, the music of the sun suddenly stopped working. It lights but won't play music. After reading reviews of it that is a common problem. The product is not actually made by Baby Einstein, But Kid II. Customer Service for Kid II has agreed to replace it but it is on backorder for 6 weeks. That might imply that these items quit working a lot. And by the time 6 weeks passes our kids won't be interested in it anymore. :|Customer Review: Disappointed

I purchased the Baby Einstein Activity Gym for my first grandson. All was well for the first three months until the star stopped playing music. Changing the batteries did nothing to fix the problem. The music plays for a few seconds and then just stops. Without the music, Baby Einstein is nothing more than a throw rug as our grandson has no interest in the gym without the music. Other reviews indicate this is a chronic problem and should be addressed by the manufacturer, this is not a cheap item.Customer Review: Must have!

My neice who's a sharp as a tac navy pilot had a baby this summer and when I asked her for advice on what to buy for a baby shower she said that this was the best item! I bought it for my boss as a present and she and her husband have gone out of their way to thank me not once but several times! They started using it when their baby was only a week old and say he loves it and that it never fails to stop him from crying.Customer Review: the best part is the worst part

I bought this from Amazon a month ago and my 3 month old LOVES it. Well actually he loves the STAR, talks to it laughs and makes him happy in the car seat which he hates. But the star is a battery hog and not only that started shorting out. And now it no longer plays music just lights up. Other reviews have had the same problem with it so I'm kind of bummed and hoping to ge a replacement soon.Customer Review: Awesome, worth every penny.

I've had this toy for about 3 weeks now. My daughter is now 3 months old. It entertains her easily for an hour at a time. She loves that she can pull on links or kick the sides to activate the music all on her own. She loves looking at herself in the mirror and everything can be moved around to develop new points of interest. It holds her interest very well. Great toy!!
