Customer Review: Star does not last

We bought this for our twins when they were 3months old. They enjoyed it quite a bit for the past four months, specifically the star. However, the star, after 4 months of use, has stopped playing songs. We still use it often as we are able to hang a lot of toys from the mutiple tabs on the legs, and it is excellent for traveling since it easily comes apart and is put back together again. We are able to use many different types of toys which keeps it interesting for our girls. I would have definitely given it 5 stars except for the short life of the star that it truly the "star" of the toy.Customer Review: Very good product

Overall we are satisfied using this product so far. The provisions to add more toys is fabulous. Also the provided toys are good as well.

Cons:
1. The center star - for it to be motion detected, the entire bar has to shake (also I am always nervous about having that with just a felcrow like tether, additional tether would have been helpful)
Again, its a good product and I would definitely recommend for others.

The Baby Einstein Seek and Discover Deluxe Gym is definitely worth buying---for either a boy or a girl! The colors are bold and bright; excellent for tummy time or laying on their back. There are toys to play with and pictures to see everywhere. Our son's two favorite things were the mirror (which he still loves today, at almost 14 months old) and the singing star. We saw some of his first smiles when he would watch the star light up and sing. Very durable and should last through any and all children you plan to have. I began putting my daughter on the floor to play everyday when she was about 4 to 5 weeks old. It is the perfect place. The mat is easy to clean and prevents drool and spit up from getting on the carpet. She loves the star. During "tummy time" she enjoys looking at the colorful mat. There are plenty of toys to change out so that she can discover new things everyday. It also comes with extra hooks so that you can attach other toys that don't come with the product to the gym. A friend of mine has one and her 9 month old still plays with it.Customer Review: My daughter LOVES this gym!

I first layed my daughter down on this activity mat when she was 2 months old. She was totally entertained and mesmerized by the musical-lighted smiley face. She would get so excited and kick and wave her arms whenever it would play. She also loved to bat at the dangling toys and it really helped her to fine tune her gripping and focusing skills. She loves the little sunshine/rattle too - we unhook it and take it with us very often. My neice who is 6 weeks younger than my daughter absolutely loves to play on this mat when she visits too.
