Customer Review: Works Well, Looks Nice.

The people in the hospital where our baby was born had suggested swaddling him and showed us how to do it. He'd get out of the wrap in no time at all. Then we found the SwaddleMe wrap in a magazine article. We tried one and it worked very well. I just place him in, give him a moderately tight wrap and fasten him with the velcro patches. The swaddling calms him down and he seldom cries thereafter. We've had him sleep soundly and quietly for up to six hours while under wrap. The swaddler is a wonderful product and I wonder what we'd do without it?
More recently, my wife found the Baby Bonkie series of swaddler wraps. She loved the available patterns and decided to try the Hicks model. She also liked the soft fleece-like lining, I might add. The wrap works in the same way as the SwaddleMe and gets the same excellent results. The Baby Bonkie is much more expensive, I should add, but my wife likes to use it to show off the little dear, and it does a good job of that. Somewhat annoyingly, one of our velcro fasteners came loose on the first wearing, but my wife easily fixed the problem with her sewing machine. This is a fine product. We're probably going to end up buying another just for a little variety.
