This flight vest is really pointless. The strap attaching the child to your seatbelt is so short (clearly for a reason) that you end up unsnapping it constantly to allow the child to shift positions. If your toddler is anything like mine, having them sit still for even 10 minutes would be a miracle. Even while sleeping, the child can only be in a limited amount of positions and tends to have difficulty getting comfortable in your arms. Purchasing this item is really a conscience decision as it will do little to protect your child besides making you feel as though you did your best.Customer Review: Every parent should own one!

This product is great. I've had no problems using this product on my baby on about 10 flights now. My theory on why some airlines don't want you to use it is because they want you to spend the money to buy a seat for your baby. I don't know why it's considered unsafe for takeoffs and landings. The alternative, unless you are willing to buy a seat, is to hold the baby on your lap with no restraints at all. How is that less dangerous?
The Baby B'Air is fantastic for any parent who wants to travel with a baby and have some peace of mind.

I would recommend this product.
We flew trans-Atlantic recently. On the way there we used the car seat in the plane and it was a nightmare. Baby was kicking the seats and was unhappy she could not move around. On the way back, we tried the flight vest and it was so much better. The vest kept her belted in, but she was able to move around and stand up.
Inside the airport, we were able to hold her by the vest and it made her visible when she was running around. It was a good buy!

This made me feel a lot better on the plane. My toddler is really squirmy, and this forced her to stay on my lap (even though she didn't really like it much). I was a little disappointed that it wasn't easy for her to turn around to sleep on my chest/shoulder. We did get it worked out so that she could sleep, which she did, but it wasn't as easy as I had envisioned. Most flights I was able to have her in it for both take-off and landing. I was only asked not to use it two or three times out of ten.Customer Review: Cute little flight vest

Ok.. so I bought this flight vest in hope that it would help my 18 month old stay still and have hand-free on the flight to asia. We used it only one time and he didn't like it. As it says, this is toddler size but wouldnt recommend it for toddler over 29lbs, it was kinda tight and made my son felt uncomfortable. I would say it's good for infant that don't sit very well that need your support most of the time, or if your child is not very active, otherwise it wouldn't help very much!
