Customer Review: No complaint about product, but hardly used it on our flight.

The product is made well. I have no complaints about the Baby B'Air Toddler Flight Vest. I wish you could use it on take off and landing, but you are not supposed to do so. That is an FAA limitation, not the fault of Baby B'Air. We did hit some turbulence on our flight across the country to California, and we put it on our 11 month old then. However, for most of the trip, our baby wanted to face us, and the way this vest is designed, the baby sits in your lap, facing away from you. I would bring it with us again on future flights to put on her when the pilot announces that there will be turbulence, but she probably won't wear it if there is smooth flying.Customer Review: No trouble to use

Although I had read that some people weren't allowed by the flight attendants to use this product, I had no difficulty on either United or Southwest. No one bothered us about it, even during take-off and landing. The vest itself was easy to put on my 10-month-old, and gave us a little more peace of mind during turbulant conditions. It was especially nice to have it while nursing our daughter. I only wish I had gotten the smaller size- although our daughter was in the weight range for the toddler size, her shoulders were smaller than the head opening. I would recommend people err toward the smaller size when choosing this product.Customer Review: Great product !

I wanted something that I could feel safe with my child on the plane. She was going to be a lap baby on the flight. I was worried about turbulance and did not want her to go flying out of my lap. This product worked very well. Luckily we did not have that kind of turbulance on our flight but I felt secure that if we did my baby would be safe. The vest is very well constructed. I was initialy impressed with the way it is made. It is very soft. It did not bother my child to have it on at all. It also worked well as a short leash to keep my baby safe while standing in the airport. I would recomend this produt to any mom.Customer Review: Peace of mind

I love the peace of mind I got while using the baby b'air. I felt that my daughter was much safer than if she were just sitting on my lap with out it. We only used it once for a trip to Disney and then sold it on ebay. I am buying another one for my son to use when we go to Disney in the spring. Had I thought we were going to have any more children I would not have gotten rid of it. I was als happy that it is machine washable. My daughter wet through her diaper all over it and me on the way there. I think if you are flying without a car seat this is the next best thing to ensure your child's safety. The flight vest is everything as described. But do you really need it? My Doctor said there are many items out there that play on parent's fears, and this could be one of them. The turbulence on a plane that would require the need for this vest would have to be pretty hefty, but better to be safe than sorry, right? I guess you just have to decide for yourself if you really need or want the vest.
Also, just so everyone knows, you are NOT allowed to have the vest on your child during the take off and landing of a plane. The directions state that and the flight attendants will tell you the same thing.
