Customer Review: A couple of problems that are bigger than they should be for this price!

For such a wide stroller with amazing maneuverability, the seats are tiny and cramped and uncomfortable. There are only two positions (strangely low-tech buckles that have two settings in back: unbuckled for lying back in the seat, or buckled for a semi-reclined position). My kids HATE being semi-reclined all the time. They want to sit up straight to check things out, so I'm trying to find a foam pad to put behind them.
Second, bigger issue: the hard plastic buckles on the shoulder straps land right behind their head (twins are 8 months old and not even close to clearing these buckles in height). Their heads press against the hard buckles and hurt, leave red marks, and are generally uncomfortable. I saw another mom with a 3-year old in her BOB and the buckles weren't a problem because he was tall, but I can't wait three years.
The canopy, when folded back, leaves so much material hanging on top of my childrens' heads that when they grow a few inches taller it will cover their faces. Bad design.
For such an expensive stroller, the seat is a joke, piece of junk. The kids cry the whole time they have to sit in it. Wish I hadn't bought this.

Nothing maneuvers better than this BOB when it is in action. It feels like pushing air. That being said, I have more than 1 stroller because as great as it feels to push a BOB, it is the biggest pain to get in and out of a trunk, etc. So I also have the Maclaren Techno XT. That is a dream to break down and set-up and has some great features, but then I feel the full weight of my son when pushing it. All told, there is no perfect stroller, but the BOB is wonderful for it's intended use and just feels good. The handle bar console and the warm fuzzy are necessary IMO, too bad they aren't included.Customer Review: Love the BOB

We love this stroller. We have two different strollers, this and another and this is by far the better of the two. It is a little big and cumbersome when it is folded up but the handling more than makes up for that. It is easy to steer, easy to push, the ride is smooth, it is easy to take the wheels off for storage, it is easy to fold, it was easy to use with the car seat adapter...what more can I say? We have been really satisfied with this stroller. The only thing we don't love about it is that the seat is in a constant state of recline-it cannot be put into a full upright position, but our son does not seem to mind too much. We have used our "Bob" since our son was born - for the first 8 weeks we used it with a car seat adapter. It is a fantastic stroller! We've taken it over really bumpy trails with lots of roots and uneven ground, on the paved sidewalks in our neighborhood, and through shopping malls. It's incredibly easy to maneuver, and pretty light considering how rugged it is. We have even taken it through 3 inches of wet snow. Best stroller yet. I have three kids, two under the age of four, and have bought way too many strollers. This is not the most expensive stroller I have purchased, but to date it has the best build quality, rolling characteristics, and ease of opening and closing. It is larger than the four wheel umbrella types and some others when folded up, that is what you get with a jogging style three wheeler. If this were lost I would immediately replace it. Keep those umbrella strollers for the occasional dash to the supermarket, but for your intentional longer walks, trips through the shopping mall or just strolling, this is the one we prefer.
