Baby Products Reviews of BOB Revolution Duallie Stroller in NavyCustomer Review: I LOVE THIS STROLLER!! Summary: 5 StarsI have always been a firm believer that if you are going to buy something, don't be cheap - spend the money and get what you really want. I did not follow that advice at first ... I bought a piece of &^%$* stroller off Craigslist that I HATED. (Safety 1st Double). I could NOT turn that thing worth a darn. I finally convinced my hubby to spring for this one. We did. We love it. We live on a rural road and using the BOB makes it a breeze to get over to the shoulder - we stroll on the road, the grass, the gravel, or bumpy rocks. It's awesome. So easy to steer. I have nothing negative to say about this stroller except the price ... kinda makes you gulp, but I don't regret spending the money. I would have saved $80 if I hadn't bought that other piece of junk first.
Customer Review: One of the best purchases EVER Summary: 5 StarsHands down the BEST purchase for our daughter. I love to run and I love to go hiking. My wife likes to roam around the mall. We have been able to do all this since buying the BOB. This stroller does it all.
I did some research into jogging strollers (youtube, baby forums, review forums, etc) and all of them said the BOB was the best, if you can afford it. At nearly $600, only the lucky would be able to ride in this. However, REI had their sale and this made the price a little easier to stomach (Just buy it and make the minimum payments each month)
Jogging - the swivel locks easily into place. Occasionally it would lean on one side, it is easy to fix with the mechanism on the top.
Hiking - so easy, it made hiking more fun because my girl got to go along. Easy to lift when going up steps on a trail. For steeper steps, my wife helped me out. Someone saw us on the trail and said "don't go that way, your stroller won't make it." We tried it out regardless and made it through with little difficulty.
Strolling - smooth and very light weight, very easy to turn one handed.
Folding mechanism - simple, easy to learn. It velcros onto itself to lock. Just make sure the velcro is facing the right direction (you have to play with this to get it right, the instructions aren't clear)
Intangibles - my daughter falls asleep in this stroller even when I'm running over rough terrain. That's how smooth the ride is.
Pitfalls - we have a 2007 RAV4, with the BOB in the back, my golden retriever barely has any room, he cannot spin around. Also, can be a little heavy to lift up into an SUV. Also, for the price, it should have come with the $21 handlebar accessory (worth the purchase too). Basket is a little on the smaller side. Can be tough to get to and put things due to its location beneath the seats.
Even with the pitfalls, still one of the best items we've ever purchased
Customer Review: Bob Revolution Duallie Summary: 5 StarsWe love this stroller! It is big, but if feels so light weight to push around. It is easy to fold up and open. It fits through all the doorways we've tried so far. We love the front swivel wheel. We have used it in the fixed position for jogging and 'swivel' position for everyday walking. The swivel wheel is so nice and makes going on walks so pleasant. We also bought the infant car seat adaptor. It works perfectly with our Graco Safe Seat infant car seat. The Bob company now includes a styrofoam piece that helps to stabilize infant car seats. So many others have commented on how lose the car seats are when placed on the infant bar adaptor. That is no longer a problem with the extra piece included with the stroller. I have recommended this stroller to all my friends.
Customer Review: Double BOB Stroller Summary: 5 StarsI LOVE LOVE LOVE this stroller!!! It is amazing. So easy to maneuver. I had been using the Graco double and totally hated it. So even though this one costs an arm and a leg I really recommend it.
Customer Review: Definately worth your money Summary: 5 StarsFor anyone wondering if the BOB is really worth the pretty dollar that you pay I am here to say it is. I wanted a double with a front swivel wheel and read tons of reviews online. All of them kept mentioning the BOB. Even the reviews for the other strollers. I had never heard of BOB before so I checked it out and was impressed but not sure about the price tag. What was discouraging was that all of the other strollers had mixed reviews. I did not want to spend $200-350 for a mediocre stroller and just wish I had spent more and got the BOB but I also was not sure if the BOB was really that much better. I am a stay at home mom of 3 kids all 5 and under and money is tight since my husband is a student. My husband initially said "no way" to the BOB when he saw the price, but I talked him into it hoping I would not regret the money spent on it, we haven't. My husband loves taking it out and it is SOOOOO easy to maneuver. You will be amazed. We can even put all 3 kids in it and it still pushes like nothing at all. This is well worth the price and you will not regret it!
