I was really excited about this bib, but it has been a giant FAIL. First, my daughter, who is 18 months, can easily pull it off. The plastic strap that holds it on was secure at first, but became quickly misshapen and now is not secure at all. A gentle tug unfastens the bib. It stays on my daughter for about 30 seconds, at best. Second, the large cup-catch area at the bottom is so wide and inflexible that my daughter can't lean forward at the table. It's like she has a plastic wedge between her and the table. This infuriates her (understandably so) and then she just rips the bib off. What's good about the bib is that it's extremely easy to clean. If it stayed on, I suppose it would also catch a lot of food. But due to its design flaws, it's unusable.Customer Review: Best Bib Ever!

Before my daughter was born I bought all sorts of cute cotton bibs like ' I love my mom" etc. Soon after she started solids I quicly learnt that these got soiled easily and it was tough to keep them clean. Then on a trip to Sweden my husband brought the Baby Bjorn ones home and wow my life became a little easier. I would just toss them in the dishwasher at the end of the day. If I was in a rush I would just rinse them off under tap water. THe catch all scoop at the bottom made less messy meal times. It helped a great deal when my daughter wanted to drink water by herself and any spillovers did not land on the floor but in the bib. This was certainly money well spent.Customer Review: Great Bib

I love this bib. We ordered 2 originally, and then ordered 1 more for my mother-in-law's house.
The bib is smaller than I expected, and it is somewhat hard- it keeps the kid from being pushed all the way to the table. But it catches food great. My son likes to dribble milk down his chin with every meal, and it catches that too.
The bib is very durable, you can scrub on it without fear of damage and even put it in the dishwasher. We had a vinyl bib from Wal-Mart that has a catch pocket, but we wore a hole in the vinyl cleaning it in less than 6 months. I can tell this one is going to stand up to multiple kids.

This bib is great! They nailed the important things: it catches everything without leaking and it's easy to clean. However, the lining around the neck irritates my son's skin because it rubs. It helps to loosen it more, but then the top of this shirt is exposed and gets messy. Also, it's not wide enough at the shoulders - it would be much better without the contoured sides. It's also far too easy for my toddler to take it off - which he does at every meal (and then puts it on his head...upside down... *sigh*), so a more secure closure would be very handy. All in all, though, the pros outweigh the cons, and I love this bib!Customer Review: Possibly Toxic Plastic!!!

I have been using these for almost 2 years now (although after about a year we had to replace them, but that was to be expected with all the wear and tear of multiple meals a day for months on end). I actually LOVE this product.
However, there has been a lot of information about the toxicity of plastic products recently. Supposedly plastics with the codes 1, 2, 4, or 5 are safe. The rest are supposedly not good. These bibs carry the code 7. So I threw them all out :( Better safe than sorry. And I feel sick that my child has been wearing these for almost 2 years, and often right next to her skin.
