Baby Products Reviews of BABYBJÖRN Soft Bib 2 Pack - Red/BlueCustomer Review: Finally a worthwhile bib! Summary: 5 StarsFinally, here's a bib that is sturdy, easy to clean and my toddler CANNOT remove it!!!!! Don't even bother with any other bibs....this one is the best!
Customer Review: Has potential to be good! Summary: 3 StarsI can appreciate these for the fact that they wash off so easily, unlike the cloth ones that get soaked in food and drink. However, they are pretty stiff and uncomfortable-looking for my daughter, also a bit too large for her so I'm going to re-try them in a couple months (she's 8 months old now). She keeps trying to take it off because it fits her awkwardly and is very distracting for her.
Back to cloth for now!
Customer Review: Didn't work for my son Summary: 3 StarsI think you have to start them off with this type of bib. My 8 month old son had gotten used to the lighter weight of fabric nylon bibs, so he found the weight of this bib very distracting. He yanks it off in irritation EVERY time we put it on him...nearly strangling himself in the process. I will hang onto them to try on our next baby, as I had high hopes for this product. We shall see...
Customer Review: Great for infants who feed themselves! Summary: 4 StarsI have a 1yr old and this bib has been great; when he feeds himself the flap at the bottom catches most of the food he drops making clean up a lot easier! I purchased a different brand and was not as happy with it. This one is sturdy yet flexible and rinses easily with soap and water.
Customer Review: Fantastic Bib For Toddlers Summary: 5 StarsInitially, I hated this bib. It was too stiff, too large, and got caught on the tray of my son's high chair. However, after a few months I revisited the bib out of desperation and found that it wasn't the bib that was the problem - it was just that my son was too young to use it at the time!
That said, the bib doesn't seem to be designed for younger/smaller infants to use. I tried using this baby on my son when he was 6 months old, and it was really cumbersome for him to use. As he grew older and started feeding himself more (and soaking his cloth bibs to the point of uselessness) I tried the Baby Bjorn bib on him again (he was about 11 months old). What a difference! The bib catches most of his dropped food, including wet foods like spaghetti or applesauce, dry foods like cereal, and most recently cups of water as he's practicing drinking out of open cups instead of sippy cups!
The bibs are easy to clean, even while traveling. My son is now almost 2 years old, and the bibs are still as good as new! One of the major pros for us is that the bib is easy for my husband and me to remove, but still quite a challenge for my son to remove. He doesn't even bother trying to pull it off his neck anymore! I highly recommend this bib to anyone who has a baby/toddler who is learning how to self feed.
