Customer Review: a nice extra potty
Summary: 4 Stars

My son actually prefers this small potty over his larger, cushie seat Graco model. However, I don't feel it's all that easy to empty. There's not a pouring spout like on his other potty (nor could there be by its design). The poop and pee pour out okay but in doing so it's all pouring over the part of the potty where the kid sits. Ew. I guess you're just supposed to clean it real well after a poop which is easy enough to do. It's just differenet that what I was used to (a removable "pail" for the poop and pee). The potty is very small and lightweigt, so much so that my son tends to scoot it around the bathroom or try and pick it up while he's using it so that's created some "user errors". I like the price and my son seems very comfortable on it though. Its best feature by far is the molded pee guard. It's just part of the potty and will not get in the way of your child using the potty or catch your son's privates the way some other pee guards will. If your child is very big you might want to consider a different potty as this one is quite low and smallish, but I think that what seems too small from an adult's point of view might seem just fine to a kid. It might be small, but it's big enough and many kids who are nervous about using a potty might feel more secure nice and low where they feel like they can easily get up and down.

Customer Review: Best ever!
Summary: 5 Stars

Wish I could give this 10 stars! I started potty training my three year old and found that the potty I had was horrible - it had a pot that needed to be removed, and also a removable seat. Way too many parts to clean several times a day! Then I found these and bought 4 knowing that whatever the 3 year old was doing, the 2 year old twins would want to do too. So we had three potties in the house and one in the van. The one in the van has been incredibly useful for those "I have to go right now!" moments!!!

These are very easy to clean and are easy for them to get on and off. They are not too small as some have stated, I think they are the perfect size. We only had accidents at the beginning when I forgot to remind the boys to 'point it down'. Amazing the distance boys can get!!

Did I mention that they are easy to clean, yeah I think that is the best thing about these. My potty training days are nearly over, at one point I was training three at once and nearly lost my mind. These little potties saved my sanity. Do not buy any other kind!

Customer Review: Great Travel Potty for Big Kids Too!
Summary: 5 Stars

We just purchased this small potty chair for travel purposes for our almost three year old daughter who is just learning to potty train. She is on the larger side and is very tall and is a good 40 pounds! She is not small in the least and is a bit chunky :) but she is doing great at potty training. We already have the larger Bjorn potty chair that comes in two pieces and since she loves that one at home I decided to purchase this one. She loved it as soon as she saw it (it didn't hurt that it was in pink), sat down and made a potty right away. Her knees were almost at her chin, but she didn't care and not one mess from her being too big.
This is a great potty chair and comfortable enough for a child to go to the bathroom. AND might I add that it is small enough for me to put in the basket under my stroller and take with us to the mall (as she is afraid of the "big potty chair").
So, I give Baby Bjorn 5 stars for putting together a product that even larger toddlers can use; and for making it small, cute, practical and affordable on a tight budget!!!

Customer Review: Perfect for EC'ers, don't wait to buy it
Summary: 5 Stars

I just want to add to the reviews to let those practicing Elimination Communication with their babies know that you CAN use this potty even before your baby can sit. We started at birth holding our baby over a bowl, as suggested in Ingrid Bauer's book, but it was never comfortable for us or for baby, so I got this potty, thinking that I would somehow make it work.

In fact, it has been perfect the whole time and I wish I had started off with it right away. Our daughter was 2 months old when we got it and was able to use it easily with us supporting her sitting. Now she is 3.5 months old and can sit by herself for short periods, and so the potty is great because the sides curve up perfectly to hold her in place as she's learning to sit.

I originally bought one to try it out and loved it so much I bought another for a different part of the house and we totally retired the bowls and over-sink positions. I have the pink and yellow ones and I can tell you the colors are very pleasing.

Customer Review: great to keep in the car even when "trained"
Summary: 5 Stars

My twins are almost 2.5 years old. At home we have two of the bigger Baby Bjorn potty chairs (the one with the higher back and removable bowl for easy clean up). It's true that the little Bjorn potty is too small for most toddlers to sit on comfortably for a long time. However, it's fine for sitting on for a short time. I keep it in the back of the car so they can go potty when we are out and about without me having to find a public restroom or other appropriate place for them to go. My kids are pretty good about the potty but they can't hold it for that long, plus I have a phobia about germy public bathrooms, so this is a great solution for us and doesn't take up too much room in the car. They are 36" tall but on the skinny side and fit on it fine. Again I would not get it for home (unless for a much younger child) but it's great for on the go/in the car.
