I am buying today our 2nd Bjorn play smock. My daughter is 16 months and we have been using the first one every single day for 5 months now. We use it for meals while she is learning how to feed herself. All the food and spills dont get on the clothes and save us from doing frequent laudnry. The best part is that the smock is long enough to fold in her lap and catch the food that misses the mouth without getting in the folds of the high chair. After the meal the only messy part is the adorable face of a happy baby... all the spill are trapped in the smock!
The smock dries very fast after cleaning..
the neck opening is not too tight, has two buttons so that you can increase as the child grows.
After 5 months of using at least twice day, sometimes 3 times, it is time for replacement as we can see some wear and tear. But this has been our favorite baby accessory so far.
Highly recommended.

I bought this to use as a giant bib since my boy is a very active eater who always seems to get the undersides of his arms covered with food. This happens when he twists and turns in his chair and reaches for food, drink, etc.,. The smock provides great coverage but it could benefit from a pocket along the bottom and it could be much easier to clean. I have other "safe" plastic/vinly type bibs that are much easier to clean so I hardly use this one. I would not recommend it for a messy eater or even a mildly messy eater as it does not clean or dry quickly, especially for the price. Also, the color is not very well defined so food can get under it fairly easily, a wider border would be helpful. I can absolutely see using it less frequently for art projects like painting.Customer Review: Durable

I like using the smock; It makes cleanup very easy with a "little one" whose trying to be quite the independent eater. I put this on once he is buckled into the highchair so when its time to clean everything up I can take it off and he is still strapped in. I just wash the smock in hot soapy water in the sink at the end of the day and hang it up to dry overnight (I spot clean it during the day). Love it, not too pricey and he will be able to use it for quite some time.Customer Review: Very useful bib.

This smock washes well, is comfortable and does it job very well. We have tried other smocks and their plastic coating seems to seperate from the fabric part of the smock-not with the Bjorn. The Bjorn Smock is made smarter and it lasts much longer. It's also a softer material. It's good for eating and for crafts.Customer Review: Very Useful!

I bought both the red & the blue smock. Coverage is excellent & my son's clothes stay clean through the messiest meals. Fabric is easy to clean and dries quickly if hung. Great product--worth every penny!
