I only gave this 3 stars because I just placed an order and haven't gotten it yet!
I just wanted to give any perspective buyer an FYI. Based on the reviews about the slits and having no seatbelt I emailed BabyBjorn. Supposedly the seat didn't pass FDA approval with the seatbelt, so it is not sold with it in the US or Canada....but I guess the didn't bother to change the design for removing the slits!

Not very thrilled. The strap to attach it comes loose very easily, and it is difficult to secure on any chair where the seat is not perfectly square or has any indentations in it. THe only saving grace is the mystery elastic strap, when tied around the back slats of the cahir it holds it securely. It is simple no bell and whistles, but very slippery, not a good thing if you have a squirmer.Customer Review: Great Product!!!

I really like this booster seat and so does my son. It was always a battle to get him to sit in his old seat but not with this one. I haven't had any issues with the color not coming clean. I just wipe it down immediately after meals and it states white. The seat didn't even stain when it got tomato sauce on it. This booster seat does what it should, which is raising the seat for the child. With the belt to attach to the chair, it doesn't slide around at all. It's easy to clean, just wipe up. There's no seat belt to hold the kid to the seat, but this way the child can climb in and out of the seat his/her-self. Price is affordable.Customer Review: Great toddler seat

We purchased this for our 3 year old daughter so that she could easily climb in and out of the chair at our table. It is easy to clean and she can get in and out. However, the strap on the side is easy for little hands to try to release when standing next to the chair. Other than that, it is a great seat.
