Customer Review: Good for Smaller Babies

When my daughter was born we initially bought an Infantino baby carrier (I believe it was called the Style Rider). We returned it about 30 minutes after getting it out of the box. It took both my wife and I to get it on me and it had about 20 buckles. Not conducive to putting it on by yourself, especially when you have a wiggly baby! We decided to spend the extra money and go with the Baby Bjorn Synergy.
The fabric is great. It is light weight and "breathable", so you and your little one won't be sweating to death. The carrier itself is fairly light weight, but is built extremely durable. I was really impressed by how well it was made. The best part about it, though, was how easy it was to put on! I had the privilege of staying home with my daughter for a few months when she was about 4 to 5 months old, so I needed a carrier that I could put on myself so her and I could run errands. She didn't like to be in the stroller because the seat faced me and she wanted to look forward. The carrier worked perfect for her. The carrier allows the baby to be front facing or rear facing. The rear facing (towards your chest) position works best for smaller babies and the carrier has a head support to protect their wobbly necks. Then, as your baby starts growing you can turn them around to face out and the head support folds down.
I always wondered if she was comfortable in it, but almost every time we were out she fell asleep in it so I guess she liked it!
I would say the only downfall to it is the cost since it is about 3 times the cost of other carriers, and she really only could used it for a few months before she outgrew it. All-in-all I would buy it again!

This is a definite improvement over the original Bjorn. The price tag is a bit steep but it is new and I thought the same thing when the original came out. Now the original is about $50. I have used several times and I like the back support and the ability to tighten as needed. Additional colors would be nice, but not imperative. If you shop Babies 'R Us and registered with them, you will get 15% coupons in the mail that will help offset the cost. I am still looking for the accessory cover to try out, but not sure if I would use it. Typically, we take the baby in from the car while in the baby car seat...to much of a hassle to unbuckle and put into the Bjorn. Material looks durable and is washable. I am not sure about the mesh bag provided that says you can put the Bjorn in the bag. The instructions don't mention how to do that, so I assume scrunch it in there. The ROI is not high on this product if you consider it only goes up to 26lbs. However, if it quiets the baby vs. other positions, then you have to decide whether the $150 price tag was justified.Customer Review: Great Product!

I did a lot of research before I purchased this carrier. I read a lot of reviews which was the most helpful, but even after I found a brand with such great reviews on all of its products, I still had to pick the one which would fit my family best. I read it was hard to understand the directions, but I didn't find that to be the case at all. They were simple and to the point with pictures. I chose this carrier partly because I have a bad back. It was important for me to find not only a comfortable carrier, but also one I could wear for longer periods of time if needed. I chose the breathable material because I live in Florida and it gets extremely hot during the summer. It keeps both myself and my daughter cool. My husband has yet to wear it, however he said because it's black there is more of a possiblity he would. It's a life saver when I need to walk our very hyper boxer when my husand is at work. I love the BabyBjorn carrier and definitely would recommend it!!Customer Review: Great product

This is a great product...although pricey...worth it. Someone gave me a Snuggli carrier and my daughter loved it and I could get some things done, however it killed my back after 10 minutes and was hot! I bought the Synergy for the breathability and back support. My daughter loves it...she usually falls right asleep in it and it is comfortable for me. I can wear it almost 2 hours without discomfort. You do have to make sure you get it adjusted correctly. My husband doesnt take the time to properly adjust it and he says it hurts his shoulders. She is 9 weeks old now and has been using it since week 2. It was recommended to me to "wear" my daughter after feedings to help with gas as she is difficult to burp. It does seem to help. My only complaint is that it should have some little pocket in it for housekeys, etc like the Snuggli had. Otherwise it is a great product...dont wait to get it!Customer Review: Performs very well.

This is the only carrier my wife and I have tried.
The purchase was based on reviews on Amazon.
I am 5-9 160 lbs and it fits me with lots of room to go.
I can feel the pressure of the support being transferred to my back and rib cage evenly making it nice and snug.
Our daughter was almost 10lbs @ birth and we have been using this since she was a month old. Obviously having 10-15lbs hanging off your chest can get tiring eventually. I have used this for an hour before I had to take a break.
The baby loves it. She is comfortable, gets in and out easily, and I think she enjoys the eye level and front facing position to the world.
The price is steep. As stated in another review the ROI is nil.
Having your baby strapped to you while you run around doing errands or shopping is really awesome.
