This is the best designed carrier out there and well worth the money. I use this every day. I have two dogs and this makes juggling a baby and two dogs on a walk a breeze. I tried two other brands that were given to me as hand-me-downs, and they do not hold a candle to the Bjorn. The Bjorn is easy to put on, has comfortable straps, smooth, medium weight padding in the carrier body which doesn't abrade, supports well, and keeps baby feeling secure. We recently went on vacation to the beach with our 4 month old. The Bjorn allowed us to hike on the beach and parcticpate in activities which would not have doable or convenient with a bucket or stroller.Customer Review: Worth the extra money!

I received a cheap carrier for my shower and used it when my son was about 8 lbs. I hurt terribly after just a short time.
When my son was 3 months my friend told me about her Baby Bjorn and that she still used it with her daughter who was 17 lbs. I bought one and my only regret is that I did not have it from day one. At 14 lbs now I can carry my son for hours. We use it with traveling in airports and he loves to face fwd so that he can see everything and when he falls asleep it is so easy to turn him around. No lifting straight up and hurting your back or waking the baby. Super easy to put on by yourself. You must have this for your baby.

The Baby Bjorn is extremely well designed and it has been one of the most useful things we registered for. My daughter is cranky in her stroller and in the infant car seat but she loves being toted around in the Baby Bjorn. I take her for a walk every evening and she just loves looking around and the rocking motion. She even naps in it if I'm shopping and she's no longer interested in the sights! I am sooo glad we paid the $90 for it. It's been a life saver!
I can imagine that once the baby is over 15 lbs, he/she may have to graduate to a backpack or something else but till they are too heavy, this is THE way to carry a baby!

I got this as a baby shower gift and wow it has been a lifesaver and a body saver! My son loves to be held and sometimes my arms would hurt so I would put him in the carrier and he just LOVED it! He loved facing out! I could also walk outside and walk around a store with my arms free. My husband even wore it and before my son was born my husband swore he would never wear this. But he tried it on and realized it wasn't girly at all. My husband has worn this millions of times too with our son in it. He loves this too!! It's adjustable to their height too and it's very safe and will keep your kids safely in it!Customer Review: An absolute must have...even with the cost

This is far and away one of the best items to buy for yourself or another new mom. Both my husband and myself use this to carry our daughter since she was born (she is now 8 months and nearly 20 pounds). This truly is a necessary item when traveling. I carried my daughter in this around Chine, climbed the Great Wall with it--she was 6.5 months. Also, you can breastfeed while carring your babe...it takes a little angling and a blanket for privacy, but we walked around China and she was happily eating!! We will have to buy another with our next baby as this one has taken a beating from use!
